The truly sad thing about this is, they have job security for a while. So if for whatever the reason they say re-build, they architect it and keep their jobs. There is no incentive for Ali to win this year. Thats what is so shitty about their deals. I was somewhat ok with Manning, but Ali is atrocious, earn your stripes.

Truly hoping but not feeling great, I am completely biased as well. I am now spoiled and expect us to compete in CCL every year. Sports teams have windows, I hope they aren't blowing ours.

Anyone watching Canada game postponed fkrm yesterday

Up 6-0. I think I've seen the ball once or twice cross midfield.

Their offense looks crisp, all players know where to be and options for passing

Loaded up the box to give multiple outlet passes

    6th goal was beauty
    1 brilliant effort and pass
To a man holding last d find runner in box
    One touch finish

Better offense than TFC, pace, quick decisions, always communicating and supporting

I am glad we have got to the point where we can destroy small island countries. We need to prove it against the top teams now.

Feel so bad for that goal keeper on Davies goal.

Stopped the penalty and the follow up to only have Davies and 2 other Canadian be the player closest to the goalie

The other the defense wow I'd be mad

Hahahaha. They would lead with Sabres/Flyers highlights before putting soccer on first.

    No, we aren’t

You know if you Google “what is Norwich famous for” the first answer is mustard?

Once it wins an FA Cup and the UEFA Cup Winners Cup we will all be interested.

To see what your team should be aiming for arrivadista, here’s this:

Ipswich is the oldest Anglo-Saxon town in England and has a rich heritage and proud history. Suffolk's county town was granted a royal charter in 1200 and has been closely linked with the discovery of the New World and with historical figures such as Cardinal Wolsey and Charles Dickens.

If you check the BMO groundcrew Twitter account - they pulled all of the organic and left only the synthetic. They will reseed the real grass I'm assuming.
So the latest pics are of the synthetic

It also has a fraction of the history of Norwich, the second-largest city in England for seven hundred years, home of the textile industry, largest immigration port for that period in England, departure point to the New World for pilgrims and later Mormon missionaries.

We're still figuring it out, but my oldest listed relative, Robert Loome, was born there in 1792. He was likely (based on a name he gave one of his son's) the bastard son of John Lombe, then Sheriff of Norwich, and the wife of Dr. John Beevor, a noted local physician.

(They had another bastard child and Lombe's estate later passed to him as there were no other heirs. But that recognition was grudging, and I suspect my great-grandfather seven times removed wasn't as lucky. as he was their second bastard. He just inherited a wonky spelling and multi-generational penchant for manual labor).

Anyway, if that's true, I'm probably related to the Middletons. Brrr. Terrible things can happen if you look back far enough...

Go Canaries! (Followed just after by 'Go Tykes!' because let's face it, we all like it when MLS players do well in Europe. Plus, they're also called the 'Reds', so it's kismet.)

Ha, that's a great story! I still have family on my mom's side there. One even played for Norwich in the 80s.

    Ahem...
MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

Haven't been back to England since 1983. Might move back if the opportunity presents. I'm not very Canadian in terms of personality.
