I’m not sure I trust Ali Curtis for a “big refresh”. Give him some things to sort out in the off-season and if he makes good on those open it up a bit. The last thing I want is 5 more Gallardo’s.

Then again, at the rate Ali Curtis works, it would probably take him 5 years anyway.

Akinola was a sub tonight. Nelson wasnt even on the bench. Priso came on 20-30 mins too late. At some point Vanney has to trust our kids in big games and not just garbage minutes or filling in for injuries instead of blindly defaulting to veterans even when they're out of form

Priso should have been on much earlier. Vanney should know better.

The strikers need to be able to create on their own like Gio used to do. Haven't really seen any of that consistently

Philly losing 2 nil. This one game play off format is garbage. Makes the playoffs nothing more than a lottery.

Well, cheering against Philly to not get the double and against Seattle because, well it’s Seattle — go random winner like Orlando or Minnesota.....

Bradley's eternal fear of taking an open shot, killed us there. He has loads of space to open up and let one go in front of the box and timidly passes wide to a teenager.......

This shows where we are, for better and for worse. Good on season or based on tonight : MB, Oso, Marky, Poz, Priso, Richie, Mullins as a sub, Ayo, Mavinga Auro to some extent and Q. Maybe Piatti. But need two scorers to add to all those midfielders. And some pace. And defense.

Why did MB slow it down there?! Team needs a lot of retooling starting with Altidore, Gallardo and maybe MB, and get some damn natural speedy wingers.

I am pissed. Goodnight all. Was a good, not great, regular season and a flaccid and pathetic showing in the playoffs. Hopefully they figure it out next year.

If Altidore and Gallardo are not dumped in the offseason then 2021 will be a struggle.

What a pathetic showing this season, time to tear the team up from top to bottom

That was sad. No energy, no hunger, no quality. Nashville wanted it more, and made that clear. They had more quality chances, and converted one. Not sure what Vanney was doing, but obviously not motivating the team or changing up an approach that was quite clearly not working. Sad end to the season.

The team was so flat tonight. Nashville outplayed us for nearly the whole game.

Honestly, we haven't had a scoring chance in games. This result was a suprise, but then again it wasn't. Including overturned goals Nashville found the back of our net 4 times. I don't think we even had 1 decent shot on goal.

You know, I’m not terribly surprised or particularly upset. Maybe I should be?

But I feel like that’s entirely representative of what this team has been for a chunk of the season. Never championships material.

i actually think we changed as a team when Bradley came back - before his return we were a very quick passing team moving forward - not criticizing Bradley but his return totally changed the dynamic of the team, imo.

Too many injured players coming back at once, going back to Toronto to train... seems like TFC was lacking the edge and motivation
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

    -Eduardo Galeano
