A couple of people asked why Endoh isn't on the bench, over against a couple of other players: Endoh is injured.

Yeah that offside goal was worrisome. Gonzalez and Mavinga were too close together, and didn't know where most of the Nashville players were.

Jozy looks like he has lost a step on that last run. I expected better.

Deleon's first playoff start since 2016. Says it all.

Wouldn't be surprised if this went to penalties.

I’m very pro fielding our academy guys but I think the choice is reasonable. Only Priso really showed he can play a button down game and he’s there.

Not really much room for experimentation here

An earlier STFU for Caldwell: "Not alot in it." (Earlier foul on Richie.)

Nashville looks more vulnerable than I expected, we could easily have a couple. It's one of those games though where TFC have to take their chances. Otherwise Nashville is good for a quick counterattack goal, especially as Gonzalez and Mavinga are sometimes drifting way too far forward and/or to the side as time goes by. And playing Nashville when they're up by one goal or more, will not be fun.

EDIT Holy shit Osorio that was dumb.

Nah, he was turning over as he did it, so he could’ve been kicking out thinking the ball was in play. Could’ve gone worse, though.

If they pulled a red for that in the first half of a playoff game I would be done with MLS. And once again shut up Caldwell

We need to stop playing so slowly when the other team is also slow.

Time to start thinking of subs. Jozy has been invisible. When do you bring in Akinola?

We’re playing well in possession but we have no urgency, and they’re packing the box defensively, hoping to catch us on the break.

This’ll either be a nail biter that could go either way (a mistake/breakaway goal) or we’ll nab a couple in the second half and close them out.

This is a team we really should beat but Gary Smith is tactically savvy. He’ll count on us being overconfident and making a mistake with the line high.

This is not good enough from TFC, almost nothing created upfront.
Play is too slow, no urgency, they could play like this 3 x 90 minutes, and still not be able to score.
    Jozy is inexistent.

TFC badly needs to add some pace in the off-season.

Nashville ain't got nothing up top. Muyl is bog standard MLS wide attacker.

We were able to break them down a few times with defenders stepping up and making line breaking passes. From there, a bit of intricate play and we've had a couple of decent opportunities & 1 really good chance.

    Cagey playoff affair.

    But, boring as heck.

On replay, he was holding the ball when he kicked out, so it couldn’t have been anything but deliberate.

We were very lucky there. Partly because Alex Muyl regularly dives, flops and whines like the reincarnation of Carlos Ruiz.

I forgot that he was on the field....but then again as a pylon, he can suddenly score, and then he’s the hero. Have not seen that for quite some time. Redeem yourself, or it’s time for Akinola
