Agreed. And further to that do we really deserve the shield?
Lost to Vancouver, humiliation by Philadelphia

Do you guys really think the home trip to TO, the 2 days spent at home and coming back "refreshed" as they say, was good to TFC?
I call BS on that, probably most of the guys came back in a lot worst shape than Sunday evening after the last match.

I mean let's get logical here.
You're seeing your wives, girlfriends after missing for how many days? And already tired physically...
Ya know, I'm chalking it up to that and I'm more than fine with it. These guys aren't robots.

I could only imagine the psychological toll it's taking on the team, being away for so long from their loved ones (same with Montreal and Vancouver).

If Liverpool could get blown out by Aston Villa, and ManU by Tottenham, then we can certainly have the same by an in form Philly.

Give then credit where it's due, the Union looked really well organized, especially on the attack.

All we can do is rest, recover move forward and focus on Wednesday against NYCFC. No time to dwell.

Though I believe all of the DP contracts go through until at least next season, so those I would think have to be honoured.

Plus if I understand it correctly, most of the payments for the base salaries of the players come from the league itself, and not the team. This would include the allocation funds they are given. So it may not be as bad as it seems.

I don't want to imply that my mother-in-law is a bad cook but she once donated her homemade lasagna to the Scott Mission and even the homeless refused to eat it.🤮
