Atlanta suks this year - barely making the playoffs. Disjointed, toothless, defensively sloppy. We should be winning this one.

In some ways I'm glad we had a wake up call last night.

I we still can win a single game with more than 1 goal difference this season, this should be the one.

Similar to Cincinnati, I'm guessing that Vanney has penciled in this fixture vs. Atlanta as an "easy" game. I'm betting we'll see a pretty different lineup starting, giving a rest to a number of regular starters (most of whom looked gassed last night). That may be a reason for the really limited subs last night; I believe he hinted this in the post-game presser as well. As a result, I'm also guessing this game may be tighter than we expect. Perhaps Vanney will toss on some of the top players in the 2nd half only if needed.

I would love a fun game with a multi-goal lead, but I'm not expecting it this time either. On the other hand, looking at both TFC's games and the rest of the league, it's really a crap shoot this year, so who the hell knows.

Not sure about any debuts but I guess it depends on how the game is going. I could see Shaffelburg getting a chance to play given Vanney's recent comments that he wants to reward his hard work in practice. Might be the game to do it.

Anyone else here think of the theme song to Shaft when they hear people call him Shaff? Or just me? Haha.

It sounds like it could happen, guess it will all come down to how his week goes on the training pitch.

Mavinga and Akinola out for Sunday. Ouch...Ciman and Mullins I take it are starting now with no direct backups healthy and on the bench. Will be interesting.

I suspect Dunn will be on the bench.

We can still beat these guys but we might have to score 3.

I don't like our chances of scoring 3 if Mullins is our striker

A reliable situational or depth striker has always been the requirement. I am frustrated that we are less than one month from the playoffs and we know we can win this. Wouldn’t you have added someone. Not saying it is Ali’s fault but when your #1 and #3 striker are injured, very difficult to win with #2 and #4.

Any more injuries and we are playing a false 9 again with Poz, who by the way, we haven’t given any rest to.

I like bringing up the kids, but let’s win it all, right now!!

That way MLS can later say, well it really wasn’t the MLS cup, and it wasn’t the Shield and the Canadian Championship was out of whack and therefor there is no Treble. Oh and by the way, we began 2020 by taking away Shoeless so you can’t celebrate this with your friends anyways....LOL

    Screw that....

I'm assuming we will see prisso, shaff , endoh and Bradley today.

    Q
    Auro-ciman-zavleta-laryea
    Delgado-bradley
Piatti-pozuelo-DeLeon - endoh could start for piattia
    Mullins

Mullins isn’t Jozy, but he is positionally smart, dogged, and can finish. He’s a pretty good back up and has earned his chance through patience and hard work

Gotta mix and match who you start and who you rest.

    Gonna say the starters are

    Q
    Auro-Gonzalez-Zavaleta-Gallacher
    Bradley-Delgado
    Deleon-Pozuelo-Endoh
    Mullins

Osorio needs a night off. Piatti and Laryea could also use some rest. Delgado, Auro and Pozuelo are the other candidates for rotation.

You're assuming Vanney uses his subs. Last game he proved he doesn't care if he uses them

Interesting that Vanney doesn’t rotate. No Shaff sighting either. They want to win. What position does the new Canadian play?

Lineup is out. Bradley not immediately going back into the starting lineup is incredibly surprising to me. But, how do you take out one of Osorio or Delgado after the past two months?

Saw something saying Priso is a defensive midfielder.

I'm guessing tfc gonna put up 3 or 4 goals.
Let all that anger out for losing a trophy potentially

so let me guess its like a contest for who can put in the most hours of work over a whole year for a trophy and recognition, only to be told 3/4 of the way through we are going to cancel the competition but we still expect you to put in the same OT hours as if the contest were still happening, even though no trophy or recognition and they tell us to love it and still contribute at the same pace, slap in the face

Yea I don't like the commissioner, football has been proven successfully but the force to Americanize the game could be the beginning of the end

    Two options I see:
    1) if Osorio and/or Delgado have dead legs in the second half like last game, it's an easy sub
    2) can always sub out another player (Endoh/Piatti) for Bradley and then Oso takes their spot out wide

Edit: Oh wait you meant how do you put Bradley as a starter
