I find it a problem that on a Wednesday, 3 days after playing in Cincinnati, TFC obviously drifting tired & aimlessly for a while, Vanney waits until the 82nd to make only the 2nd sub. And not even a double sub.

Funny, but we look more like scoring & they look more gassed. They can't get a hold of the ball.

STFU Wileman with "if it stays like this." He was already saying that when TFC were still up 1-0.

    Extra subs because of covid.
Our guys are completely gassed for most of the second half.

    Vanney uses 2.

Remember, this is a compacted schedule. They had an extra day and we are an older team. Guys are giving it, that’s what I love to see.

Limp your way over to car and drive away really slowly. Happy with the tie in the circumstances.

Vanney needed to use his subs this game. Guy baffles me sometimes.

The greatest defensive striker in the world with a great tackle to preserve the 1-1 draw. It sucks, but a point on a 2 day swing is acceptable. Not like they didn't create any chances or got completely out played.

We didn't dominate by any means but we did outchance them. Maybe get the win if Akinola doesn't have an off day. Draw's not bad still.

I liked Endoh off the bench, he's easily better than Gallardo.

Oh well, on two days rest from a traveling Sunday night road game, take the tie off a wonder strike and get the win on Sunday...then the Philly game (if someone wins), might decide the Shield.....

The players looked gassed at the end. Tfc missed a few opportunities but I think the draw is a fair result.

Exactly, I don't get it. Laryea was gassed. Why not put Tony on? And/or Gallardo, add some speed and pressure?

Cinci beats Columbus.....probably too much to ask for a DC goal tonight....or maybe not.....

A lot of the guys need obvious rests we played well just struggled with the finish at times. Lost a couple of points to a wonder goal. Keep moving forward, we’re playing really well. Again: credit to Vanney

I like Endoh. But he just doesn't have the pace like Gallardo does. Would like to see Gallardo get more minutes, but Vanney just refuses to use him like Shaff too.

In hindsight Vanney should have rested Poz against Cincy. He look tired tonight and his play was off. As goes Poz so goes TFC.

Overall the last 3 games we have not been impressive and are fortunate to have gained 7 out of 9 points. If TFC had a goal disallowed the way NYRB did tonight we would all be screaming mad.

On chances, we should have beat them. We play like that and they play like that in the return match on decision day and we win.

But, we gotta start being smarter with teams who press because in the playoffs, everybody is going to do it to us.

As the night went on, the Reds really started to look haggard, the quick turn around, having played Wednesday got the best of them. Oso looked like dead man walking. Guess we ill have to wait another day to see either Marshall-Rutty or Riso make the TFC debut.

The biggest problem is the pressing from NYRB. You replace your pivots with Fraser plus a kid and you're setting yourselves up for counter attacks and chances conceded. Do you want energy or good decision making? Granted, fatigue will diminish decision making due to tiredness.

The only sub I think he could have made in that situation would have been Gallacher for Auro. I can't see throwing a kid into that pressing situation & seeing them succeed. (Gallardo just seems destined to never get a game but always be on the bench)

    Woohoo!

TFC getting their fair share of luck all around. Called back goal, and other results vs. Columbus & Philly. I hope they haven't exhausted all their luck by the time playoffs start...
