Also good for Alex getting a start. He's been a good pro. He deserves the minutes even if Westburg has clearly taken the spot.

God, I love it when we can control the ball like this. So fun to watch.

The movement has been very good. The goal will come. NE are still dangerous because they are playing for the counter 100%.

That would've been a cheeky goal by Piatti if the defender wasn't there, purposely overrunning the ball, letting the ball go by the keeper

TSN made a mistake there. Pozo hasn't assisted on all five of Akinola goals. He assisted on 4 of them. Deleon got the assist in one. Pozos 5th assist was on Laryea's goal.

I always get a bit scared when we basically dominate like this but haven't scored.

Hopefully our half-time adjustments can help us punch through.

TFC looking quite good. Obviously slowing down due to the heat.

Only issues I see: NE is good at pressuring w/o fouling much, good at defending against the dribble, and good strength man-on-man. TFC have to stop with the dinky dribbles; show better strength to not get pushed off the ball; and stop with the dinky passes close to the NE goal. Keep up with the great passing, let the ball do the work instead of dribbling through a crowd in this heat. And too bad our mid- to long-range shots are still so weak.

Looking good especially controlling the game from the back through to the midfield. Domination in the middle of the park. But as we all know possession can be irrelevant when one moment can change a game. I’d like to see some more creative chances. Piatti needs to show more as well

Kind of what one could expect given that New England is playing essentially their B team: overwhelming possession for TFC.
But I have a major question: is TFC very sloppy close to the New England goal, or NE is very good in defense?

We're looking very flat and casual again. Need something. Some more intensity, some speed. Something.

Shaffelburg just kinda puts his ahead down and runs at/through defenders. Doesn't give me any confidence that something positive will happen.

Yeah, but with him crossing as he does, I think we really should bring on Jozy.

I have a bad feeling. We needed a first half goal. I feel like with our guys getting tired and NE bringing on their big guns they're going to score an 80+ minute goal to win 1-0

New England stopped man marking Bradley, and now has much more possession...

I would hate this game if TFC would have just 3 points from the first 2 matches.

I would rather be chasing them down and make them make mistakes in their half than giving them possession in ours. But I agree if only he could finish. LOL
