Only we could have two weeks off and come back with injuries.

According to his Instagram, Mavinga had a doctor/medical professional in from France to work with his ankle and make sure he's good to go for the game vs NYCFC.

Maybe we could bring in a doctor from Mexico to fix Gonzalez for the game, FFS. (BTW I still haven't heard anything about that amazing sports science company TFC promised to hire for 2019...)

At the end of year supporter discussion that Manning did at BMO before the Columbus game, there was a question about that - I was just passing by so didn't get the gist of his answer.

So all of the MLS website seems to think we have no chance and NYCFC fans are quite confident that we only did well against them because we only played their "B" team earlier this year so they are quite overconfident about their chances too. Time to spoil the party. Let's go boys!!! Not many non-TFC fans thought we would get past DC either with Jozy and Omar out. I know NYCFC are a different team than DC but I always thought their results were skewed a bit by them always having that home field advantage all year long every year. Good thing is TFC seems to adapt to it alright. I have never been wowed by NYCFC ever. Sure they are a decent team but never really stood out that much. I guess we will see. Maybe I will be wowed tomorrow Hopefully I am but it is the team in red doing it.

    This is off topic.

Home advantage. Citi could actually have a larger soccer field than Yankee Stadium, but they are deliberately going with the familiar to them smaller size.

I was surprised when I got the email from MLSE that the party they were hosting was at the Brazen Head. I figured they would be at Real Sports since it's bigger/more suited to viewing.

This private event has probably been booked for months. I've been to a few private events there for work. The timing sucks though.

Before the DC game most of the MLS.com guys were predicting a DC win. They ate their words. Now they're all predicting a NYC win. I sure as hell hope we make them choke on those words.

    The guys are motivated.

I agree, I have never been impressed by NYCFC. The only one that killed us was Villa.

Just remember, the last time we played them in the playoffs we beat them on their kids-mini-pitch 5-0. Let's beat them again.

I honestly think we are favourites -if Omar and Jozy can play.

This B team stuff, whatever. It's MLS and we have the proven studs. Mitrica and Heber blah blah blah - they played in Croatia and Romania! Our better players have massive league, Concacaf, international, and World Cup experience.

NYCFC's stars have done nothing in their lives to confirm that they can do anything on this stage. The way to bet it is that they won’t.

Also, this contrived home field advantage of theirs will bite them in the ass now. It'll be a cavern with zero atmosphere. They don't know Citi Field and it’s bounces etc any better than we do.

I don't think we will lose. If our stars can go, it'll be 3-0 TFC. If they cannot, and it's extra time, that does worry me, just because we will run out of gas.

Fuck those clowns. They’ve had nothing good to say about TFC since Seba and VV left

Heber and Moralez are good, but not top echelon of players in the league. More like next level down. We can definitely win if all our starters can play.

Whoever said NYCFC deserve to lose because of that ridiculous pitch was right on.
