Best interview ever listening to Poz. At the end you hear Caldwell say to Christian apologize to those who were offended.....

A league where the MLS champs miss the next year's playoffs, you need imagination.

I cant believe NYCFC get away with it. A Conference Semi Final on a Baseball diamond with a huge net covering half the field on the TV broadcast. How amateurish is that? If MLS want to be taken seriously as a league then need to put a stop to this nonsense. MLS league should have given NYC a year to find a proper field or their out of the league. Its that simple... except we know NY and LA are 'special markets' for MLS and get preferential treatment

A bit OT, but how childish was that when NYCFC tried to only water TFCs half at the break. It took Bradley to complain to get the side we were attacking in the 2nd half watered as well. To make it worse our players had to stand under the sprinklers while they did it.

NYCFC might have played good football this season, but they really are a cheapo, Mickey Mouse, organization

Man is Laryea a threat at the end of these games off the bench. He should have came on earlier. I’ll give credit to Vanney for the way we started, but man was he slow with those 2 subs. You could see it was coming 10 mins before.

None the less, great fight shown by the boys. Ciman has been a pleasant surprise this post season. Auro may have had one of his best games since coming to TFC tonight.

Altidore.... you better play next week.

100% agree...props to Ciman! Starts in the two playoff games as Omar is hurt and has done a stand up job. Good leader as well, I was wondering when he put his arms around Richie after Poz scored the penalty to tell Richie to keep his cool in the last 5 as it was getting really heated between him and that NYC Cast guy.... "Fooken good team"

Richie Laryea has been the difference maker in both these games.

TFC need to tear up whatever deal he had to take, and give him a proper Zavaleta-type contract in the offseason.

Best part is Gonzalez gets more rest and will be 100% for the next match. If Jozy's fit then that's a bonus, but one thing is sure and that is that TFC are on fire right now. WE have been getting better and better ever since Omar came on board and it shows.

Laryea is a STUD, he’s been doing it for Canada and TFC all year, he’s becoming a legit star, maybe emerging into one of the best players in the league, at least at RB.

Watch Poz’s goals, first one was with his left foot after a great first touch with his right. Paneka with his right foot.

That was what the scouting was saying back in Feb, amazing to see it though.

Gutsy performance by the team. A real character win by a completely knackered side.

The initial tactics to press and focus on the wing was perfect. The adjustment to NYCFC's formation change was handled brilliantly by Vanney. Unfortunately it took TFC a few minutes to settle into the change and that gave an opportunity to NYCFC. However, you eventually saw the results of the change with TFC putting NYCFC on the back foot, resulting in the PK.

I don't know if they can go all the way. I didn't expect them to win without Jozy. It sure is entertaining though and maybe they will surprise the league. They sure did tonight.

What a performance! They lads played great and I really think they can take it all the way to the Final and win it all.

Let’s give it up for the Layrea. He’s started the season okay, but he’s become a great threat in the last stretch. Isn’t he on minimum wage or something? Give this kid a raise!

Also, thanks for the posting the fucking great fucking clips! LOL

Lol what a night for NYCFC. I read there was a torrent of expletives towards the owners on the way out, aswell.

Awhile ago there was mention of "distractions" in the locker room. I'm not feeling that at all with this team right now. I don't see anyone arguing who's taking a PK or free kick, I don't see anyone pouting if they're subbed, I see a vet like Ciman stepping up for the team when called in need for playoffs, I see classy Drew Moor happy as a school boy after the win and I see our captain in total charge by his play and the way he leads. His arms were flying in the last five as he probably shouted instruction and encouragement to his team to finish it.... who knows maybe I'm wrong and they all hate each other...but I don't think so.

That was a foul a penalty and a possible red card. Nothing to do with being “injury prone”. Bollocks. We lost Seba, let’s not lose the other scoring threat.
