    By resigning Michael Bradley with
#TFCLive with a #TAM deal, that leaves the door open for #TFCLive to sign another Designated Player, to go along with Jozy Altidore and Alejandro Pozuelo. Team prez. Bill Manning said earlier looking for another scorer #MLS

It was announced as TAM in the post above yours. I don't get why people were so worried about it being a DP - Bradley was super up front with being willing to take a TAM deal to stay in Toronto.

We still do not know what the ceiling is for TAM heading into next season without a CBA in place, plus mystery Garber bucks could be at work here. Is it more than the $1.1 Victor had signed for, I would think so? DP, TAM, GAM what does it all matter, when it does not count against the cap. The cap is key.

Would a 2-3M TAM deal really be all that much different than a 2-3M DP deal when only a little bit of it counts against the cap?

A lot of unknowns right now. The fact that the CBA runs out on the 31st of January during/after a HOT transfer market is beyond Mickey Mouse for the MLS. Everybody is pulling back now waiting to find out what they can and can't do in the market, but by the time we know the result (if there isn't a strike) the market will be cold.

Ink out a deal through mlse with Peace Collective and properly transform "Seba Things" into a fashionable brand, in return for reduced wages. That's sort of creative.

I really can't see us making any sort of splash with the DP signing this January. The market on free transfers is pretty dry aside from Willian who would prefer to stay at Chelsea. And prices have inflated ridiculously in markets where you'd get a guy who could create some buzz.

Would personally want us to go for Lingard (name recognition, age, positional flexibility, etc) but even that is a stretch with EURO places on the line this year and him being on 5.2m£ a year. He would have to give up on England and probably take a decent pay cut as well.

When you consider all that Seba wouldn't be a bad stop gap for the club if they want to generate some buzz and fill the DP slot. But it'd have to be just a stop gap, he's not a long term solution.

Zavaleta used to be a striker: he will be converted back as our new DP attacker..

    .
Lingard is not coming. Why would he come here?

I see us going SA/Liga MX route for the next dp
