fair point. I like him as an impact sub. I was just speculating what was in Vanney’s mind picking deLeon and Fraser over shaff and Gallardo.

I think Gallardo is a bit injured or at least needs a break.

Hopefully Deleon can do a job here. He fell asleep on the Piatti goal midweek.

the female commentator for LAFC broadcast knows her stuff
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

I could be wrong but if you watch the slo mo replay again, the spin on the ball changes, indicating Mavings actually got the ball just slightly.

It really sucks the way it played out, but I'm happy with a draw.

Im pretty sure they’re arguing that he got the ball first. Edit: and having just leaped into chesting the ball, blessing clearly didn’t have possession, so it’s both a blown call and a blown VAR. yikes.

Well that’s pretty killer to get so close to 3 points and have to settle for 1. Good effort by the team.

If I had one criticism I would say we needed more of a sustained commitment to hold the ball in the second half. Guys must have been terribly fatigued defending for so long.
