This team aint making the playoffs. Too many games on the road and they are mentally weak.

    Aaarrrrggggghhhhh.

Gonzalez and Mavinga often let themselves get pulled way too far to one side, completely vacating the middle. But that's not the only problem.

Morrow and Osorio are both raking in the $ based on one good season...Morrow in 2017, Osorio in 2018..and they can thank VV and Seba for making it happen....Osorio has made just one terrific shot on goal all season, in which he scored.

Red Bulls should have scored 3 goals this half. Lucky that this game is still close.

Shaffelburg is a pace merchant who's not going to be as effective now that the Red Bulls are leading and will take less chances offensively.

I have never liked him, but he did have a remarkable season in 2018, and despite the number of easy tap in goals, he still played much better than ever before...I don’t expect him to get 17 goals again, but his performance in all areas has not been stellar.

This should be an interesting off season. I think its time to move Delgado, Osorio, Morrow, Moor, Ciman, and Bono on. Bradley is likely gone as well. May be a whole new team with Altidore, Pozuelo, and Gonzalez at its spine come 2020.

Two completely different halves. This feels like a wasted game.

I don’t know if we can say that about this group. The team has changed a lot since the beginning of the year. But.. I agree, we’re probably not making playoffs based on the remaining schedule. Taking too long to make moves means we threw away too many points along the way.

That’s fine, provided we have a great team and are ready to succeed next year. Hard to tell exactly where we stand at this point however.

Then again TFC should have scored 5 in the first half.

CB for CB sub when we're down by one, WTF? Is Mavinga injured again?

My wife rarely watches footy on TV. Partway through the first half, she asked "why does he never stop talking" about Caldwell. Muted now.

Waiting for the full-time apologists to come out strong after this game. It not today, then tomorrow.

Man, gut punch loss. We'd usually come out of that first half with a 2 goal lead, we were really good... just couldn't score for one reason or another. But we came out so flat in the 2nd half.

I don't know. That's pretty much our best team out there. One great half, one bad half... we just can't put it all together it seems.

So throwing away points at home to Houston was still a good idea?

Math is getting bad now - have to win every home game (that Houston Loss is going to haunt us) and get three wins on the road out of Cinci, Chic, Columbus - that gets them to 53 and probably need 50 to get in —— at NE, at NYCFC and at LAFC look to be tough at the moment — and those other games are no sure thing either - do we lose Jozy (and others) for the Sept 7 and 11 games?

I am not seeing another path for us to get in - they need 9 points out of the four August games remaining to have a chance in my opinion.

    Because Mavinga was injured.

    As was DeLeon.

    Shaffelberg was gassed.

The TSN broadcasters are the very worst I have ever listened to. Babble. Trivia. Amateur hour. No change in tone, inflexion. No sense of drama, build up, tension.....if you close your eyes, you should be able to follow the on field play, but with these two you have no idea what is going on

    Yep, it was pretty sensible.
