I wouldn’t expect an athlete to say anything else. Using the NBA finals as an example: Kevin Durand “felt great” prior to catastrophic year injuring himself and being out for a year.

This is where sports science and our training staff needs to make the call.

Same goes with Iron Man Bradley. There’s been more than one occasion where he’s demanded to play and clearly had nothing left in the tank. He needs to sit on occasion, even if he gets bitchy.

With highway construction this parking situation is just going to make for a nightmare commute.
They really expect 10,000 cars to flood into liberty village?
Other than the GO train, public transit isn't a much better option
May be a late arriving crowd tommorow. The post game tunnel will be ugly.

Most people can surely park somewhere that connects to either the go, the king streetcar, the bathurst streetcar, the harbourfront streetcar, the Dufferin or Ossington busses or the subway (and onto one of those busses). there's tonnes of public transit options to the stadium and all would definitely get you to the game alot quicker and cheaper than driving and trying to find parking with the bmo parking lots out of action

    Or
The odds dropped from 2.0 or 50% implied probability of a tfc win down to 1.75 or 57% implied probability of a tfc win on pinnacle.
That's pretty high probability of winning given the quality of the opponent, I think this implies pozo is playing.
The key guy to watch out for is Oso.
If he is playing probability of a tfc will go up

MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

Been saying to my friends over and over that we don't see the true potential of this team (or any team in MLS really due to salary cap, DP rules, etc), until we have the closest to our full possible starting 11 on the field. We saw that potential slowly unfold in the match against Montreal on Saturday. Time to build on that momentum.

NYRB brings their hacking game out on the pitch (remember the 2017 Conference Semis?). We almost have the full squad and I like our attitude now. I just hope they don't let the Energy Drinks get under their collars.

3-1 win for the good guys.

NYRB is a good team and this will not be easy - theywill press us within an inch of our lives - one of the better ways to beat the press is to force back their WB's with speedy wide play and over the top balls to a rushing/laying off central forward.

We need quick ball movements, a solid defence & then we are in with a chance.

I think this game is going to be 2-0 - I just don't know for which team.

Nyrb played Sunday night. On short rest maybe with some squad rotation. And playing away. We've seen us cough up these games in the past but we really shouldn't tonight. There's no excuse.

This is a good point. They are one of the better teams in the league but on a short rest + travel we should be able to get them.

I’d consider holding some speed back on the bench. Grind them down in the first half and then hit them on the counter when you know they have nothing left in the tank.

Apparently no Gallardo tonight. Rough translation below.

Erickson Gallardo will not play tonight with @TorontoFC. He already had a week of training and would have options to debut the weekend vs Houston Dynamo.

About time. Only took Laryea getting fouled in the box 5 time over a series of games to get one penalty
