I'm warming to the idea of Fraser at the 6 and Bradley at the 8 instead of Delgado.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Again we're being too slow and methodical. Montreal easily just sitting back and picking off our obvious passes.

    Need to play faster.

Smart decisions from Omar there, not going to the first outlet, forcing his teammates to move and open options up between the lines.

This is one of those danger games where they're just waiting for us to make a mistake with our back line too high.

There's an argument to be made regarding subbing Bradley here. Guy's been super poor.

Does Steven Caldwell have stockholm syndrome? I swear, the more forthright someone is in this country, the more they guilt root against the home team (some Canadian refs included).

Delgado and Bradley having rough ones... get Fraser in somewhere.

Pretty big snoozer offensively from both teams. We can't break them down and they can't get anything good on the counter.

It will be interesting to see if either coach does any adjustments to strategy or players for the second half.

    Gonzalez playing great so far.

How many millions per year is paying TFC this dude per season?
In Europe he would make maximum 1 million, in any decent footy country, lol...

Decent half in the heat. Pozuelo finding time on the ball will give us chances. Gonzalez is steady & thinks like a defender but he needs that speedster beside him. Mavinga is a hero move away from giving them a goal. Movement of the ball is better. Auro & Delgado are doing it all quicker. Game could go either way.

    I would hope so.

And I would say this is usually Vanney's strength - making changes and adjusting to the game. I expect us to get some better chances after the break before Garde adjusts to whatever we do.

Yeah, I think some people are seeing what they want to see in this game. Altidore is moving well, the Shaff is a handful on the left and keeping their RB back, DeLeon is moving well & Pozuelo is getting in space with the ball.

This isn't pass it around the back and then back again.

I was going to say the opposite about Delgado tonight. He did have one bad giveaway recently, but he had numerous great one touch passes which advanced the ball really well, plus a few key interceptions. Marky didn't take the one shot he should have, but almost nobody on this team does, not even Pozuelo.

Why is everybody so afraid of shooting? And too many guys standing around watching our ball carrier.

Another thing: Bradley is either lazy or his speed of thought has really regressed. He brings the tempo of the whole game down for us. When we talk about how slowly we're moving the ball he's the primary offender.

My god man I usually think the Delgado criticism is exaggerated a bit - he's usually just okay these days rather than bad, instead of good like he was back in 2017 - but he's been dreadful today. So many misplaced passes.
