I would like to see a replay of that Pozuelo corner.

This is why Hamilton isn’t good enough to start as lone striker.

Pozo is going to get just as angry as Seba playing with these guys...

Hamilton can't play as a lone striker. Why do we keep experimenting like this? He needs a second striker beside him or hes a 60 minute sub, nothing more.
Take Delgado off and put akinola on too.

Westberg playing excellent. At times too good for his teammates as Osorio demonstrated on one play not opening up for him to relieve pressure.

Yeah. I know he's no Jozy but c'mon man, that should be any striker's instinct as soon as Pozuelo plays it to DeLeon. You know the first time cross is coming, you want to charge across your defender, get in front of him from his blind side. He made an outside run at the start of the move which is good to stretch the defense as Pozuelo is running in but once he plays that ball wide you have to cut to the front post. He just glides in at the back post the whole time...

    **********

Humid game for a Northern climate team - if our defence was organized, I'd say we were in with a chance to nip this one. Pozuelo has 3 decent passes all half & creates some chances. Their defence can be had but our guys don't move the ball around fast enough - looking at Auro & Delgado here as the worst culprits.

Laryea off the bench for Delgado maybe.

Hamilton’s first touch, and instincts around goal, are woeful. As I posted earlier, without a quality striker, this team will rely on luck, to score any goals....I call them the Osorio tap in.....Can’t any of these players take a shot, at least once, per game? The one touch football is great, when you have some form of closing strategy.....another game where a Seba moment of brilliance is sorely missed.....Still predicting an easy Orlando win

It’s really inexplicable. He’s capable of scoring when no one is paying attention to him, but he can’t get on the end of a pass to save his life. May as well not even play someone up top if this is our Plan B.

So far Mavinga looking good. Bradley the General as always. Pozo looking to string together some goals but no one is helping him out, no options up top, and lack of creativity/urgency from our attackers (Hamilton). He's putting himself in better opportunities to notch a goal but he's not quite there just yet; should have gotten in on the defender and not behind. Anyway, draw at half is not bad and we're holding the possession... that being said, more creativity needed going into the second.

Take Degado, and bloody awful, supposedly skillful Osorio off, those 2 are the disapointments of the year, TFC are too soft, not ruthless whatsoever, wtf, Mavinga man of the match so far, 8 corners to 1 for Orlando, horrible

Exactly! Delgado off; Akinola on; Deleon back next to Bradley.

Plus we only have one striker on the bench, in this heat. This is what Vanney will do instead, unfortunately: no early subs; Hamilton stays on alone until he's completely gassed around the 65th minute; then straight swap Akinola for Hamilton, and we'll be just as toothless. Plus Pozuelo will get tired in this heat, trying to play both midfield & forward.

Osorio is too busy trying to score wondergoals. Take a touch, be patient, hit it with your right. Dude is taking the volley on his left.

Our defenders are good "apart from that one time when they did that inexplicable thing...." Its been true of every single defender TFC has had baring Drew Moor. I get the competition level but when I'm watching other teams, I just don't see this level of inconsistency.

De Leon's hair is about like this game. Shows some colour but not sure what it is trying to do.

That's a frustrating half if i ever saw one.

Vanney completely out to lunch tactically IMO. We're either attacking centrally and looking at maybe 2 options actually getting into the 18 yard box at a time or trying to play wide through Morrow who is (to be frank) offsensively inept.

What a waste. Pozuelo playing as striker, standing next to a huge defender, waiting for a pass that will never come to him because nobody else is able to build up the play.

Good grief, what is it with MLS refs and missing the obvious? Watching hamilton beat his man, get stepped on and fall over and get no call defies logic.

Morrow’s horse placenta season is long over.

Why are we playing cross the ball into the box and hope someone somehow bungles in a goal? We honestly don’t have the personnel to play that style either...

Also, Hamilton isn’t even useful for getting calls. He’s seriously getting hacked...

Yeah, it's almost like these refs are logically inept.

What exactly did Saviga think happened here in light of not calling the foul? Did he think Hamilton dove after beating his man and looking towards the middle of the field for an easy pass to continue the attack? ridiculous.

How here's an eye widening sub if i ever saw one. Wouldn't dare put on a forward or anything of that nature.

I gotta say, I don't like Vanney's tactics, but maybe today he said the right thing in the locker room for once. TFC pressing much better this half, looking much more motivated. The problem is, if they don't score a goal right now, they'll be so gassed that Orlando will run away with the rest of the game.
