    UNDER 17,000 = odds of -110

    OVER 19,000 = odds of +115
    UNDER 19,000 = odds of -135

This kind of thing is why I dropped my season's tickets.

I get that Section 112 may not care (unless they need to sell!) but boy, they are giving the finger to an awful lot of people with these discretionary early season night games.

This is a good game, an interesting game, that has been killed off by this decision. Odds of seeing decent football severely diminished if temp is low single digits. Plus the injury risk...
Me too. Attended every game in 2017 and every playoff game. Dropped season ticket in 2018 because the move away from Sat afternoon games coupled with inclement weather fatigue, was the final straw

It looks like Minnesota's backline may be a little light as Opara is still out with injury. Hopefully this frees up a bit more room for Jozy

Agreed, just a very stupid date to do a Friday night game.... when Saturday afternoon would have been perfect.

I like how the timing of the game is dominating discussion.

its a stupid time to put on a game, even for TV purposes.

I'll be with family so both attending and TV is not happening

You might as well play on Christmas Morning

Other teams, including MLS’ darling LAG are playing on Friday evening.

A zillion teams are playing Saturday.

The biggest Premier League teams are playing Sunday. Easter Sunday. So are Spanish, French, and German teams.

    ...

Yeah, it’s not ideal if you’re leaving the city or have religious plans, but some people have the day off, it’s not the day people hang out with family generally speaking, and Sunday would probably be the worst day to hold and Easter weekend match.

In England teams play on Boxing Day despite it being historically idiotic and people not heading out to matches due to spending time with family.

Is it the best time for a match? Don’t know. It’s Friday night and lots of people have the day off. Infinitely better than a Wednesday evening game, which we’ve had plenty of.

Comparing it to Christmas morning is nonsensical at best.

“A zillion teams are playing Saturday”

That is because that is the day you should play on Easter weekend. Especially if Passover is also on the Friday.

    This isn't that hard.

    Game Day!

Yeah, it's at arguably the worst time of an Easter Weekend. Yeah, it's gonna be cold, windy and rainy.

But once the ref blows his whistle signalling kickoff, none of that matters. We support the Reds whether we're at the stadium, or home on the couch.

And hey, you could always think of it as 4/20 eve! :P

Just a reminder that this is the home uniform tonight. Its "lets not get as much plastic into the oceans" weekend.

They kinda look like practice shirts, though.

And I never like when they alter the colours in the crest.

I like this “plastics in the ocean” idea.

If you are going to force alternate jerseys out there, at least let it have some purpose. Having every team do it at once gives it impact.

A lot of people leave for the entire long weekend, including Saturday, just like cottage long weekends in the summer. I’d rather have games on a Friday night regardless of whether or not it’s a religious holiday than midweek games.

I won’t be here, but I think the scheduling isn’t that insidious. It’ll give you something to watch with the family instead of a Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, or Drive ins, Diners and Dives marathon.

I’d pay extra if they donated the money to the sweatshop worker who made the kit and put their name on the back.

Yeah it seems Passover is keeping more people away from BMO today than Good Friday is.

Anyone know if they Parley jerseys will be available at BMO? I was gonna order online but after shipping, and not being able to apply my season ticket discount, it’s about $30 more.

Soccer is the Religion....BMO is the Church...Vanney is the Priest/Rabbi/Reverend/Imam....Pozuelo is the maestro of the choir

It's time for all you sinners to atone for your sins - the soccer gods are watching. There are no excuses.

With the Leafs and Raptors playing tonight and the rain I’m debating on staying home to be able to watch it all. Any thoughts?

Yeah, it seems like everything is going against this game. Leafs and Raptors, religious holiday, crazy rain, Friday (for many). Still, I'd love to go because they're actually very exciting this year, and at least the roof (sort of) covers most.

There for the cold one in Feb and all others since. Not today. Family, weather and commitments. Sorry not happening. Not apologizing just wish it could be tomorrow regardless.
