Omar and Jansons season (if Tigre lose again to Union) end right before the window closes. I worry if TFC wait to sign two players in the summer window the shield will for sure be out of reach and probably home field advantage in the playoffs.

Maybe not as the east is pretty shite overall.

I don't know Omar's style of play and what he brings to the table, but I really hope this isn't true. We don't need another destroyer, we need a general

Hard to see specifics but he says he has changed how he plays

People who watch Liga MX would be better to judge if he has changed and how its been working.

https://sofifa.com/player/190560/oma...alez/?hl=en-US - You can see here (in the comments) that he's not exactly gaining high praise

If it matters he is further down the rung than Jozy & Bradley with USMNT supporters. I asked why he never gets mentioned when trashing that T&T failure squad and they just say because there's no point as they believe he will never be called up again.

He just played in the friendly against Chile, and played well.

Agreed, if he’s not the vocal one back there or the leader he’s not a fit. I’ll be roundly roasting management if we make the same mistake we made with Ciman (notwithstanding Ciman’s other issues).

    To a friendly though.

I'm not those USMNT guys. I just argue with them occasionally about their Bradley being the worst U.S midfielder in this generation and him only getting selected because his Dad still has pull and how Jozy is lazy and can't be counted on to score because of his record at Sunderland.

Ciman isn't a mistake if he was always meant to be a backup/alternative to Mavinga.
If they thought otherwise - I'd be very upset. I'll give them until the summer transfer window to get another moor type guy in before I hang them.

I've been screaming for a second general since the end of the 2017 season.

there is a lot of hate for Ciman who is here as a backup and is good depth over zav or haglund (still cant believe we got so much in return for him)

If we had a solid RB like Beita, none of our CBs would be as exposed as they have been.

He's cheaper and domestic player that we need on this team especially since he's in his prime and playing well. Mavinga and Ciman cost more and using up international slots.

Is he a free agent soon? Why would the whitecaps just let him go? With Bradley and Jozy there are lots of international spots on the roster, even Endoh is taking up one and hes basically a TFC2 player.

This is where the thread has gone, unrealistic suggestions.

Why do you think Ciman is here as a back up? When they acquired him it seemed like he was to replace Moor. A genuine question, has the team said that?

He will be a free agent after this season.

International slots are premium and TFC needs them to sign better players in the future. Using on Endoh is a waste.

Seba's team lost 2-0 a couple of nights ago and he got subbed out in the 64th minute.

    Subbed. Out.

He's there for only one reason, or maybe a few million reasons, and it ain't the soccer.

    Don't want him.

    Move on.

TFC weekly Pravda Insider report by Wheeler indicates TFC has taragets looked at within the league but teams don't feel the need to do deals at this point.
