I see Morgan as a positive voice in the locker room, a link to our history, and an occasional player on the pitch to cover injuries or for the Canadian Championship. Is that worth $120k/year? Maybe. He's half the cost of Zavaleta. Obviously he's not likely going to be a regular starter, ever. We need better starters. Morgan is fine as occasional depth. I don't see management letting him go.

Zavaleta is likely to stay here unless Vanney goes. He's an OK depth defender for MLS. He won't get the same chance elsewhere to be a starter.

MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
