Okay with Twellman on this I'm taking it as legit. Twellman is well connected when it comes to big name moves.
Here's the thing then... I don't see any reason to doubt that Robben would rip the left backs in this league to absolute shreds. He would create a chance every single time we'd be able to isolate him 1v1 against his man. He did

this 4 months ago.
The problem is you basically have to go into the signing assuming he's going to miss 50% of the games due to re-occurring minor injuries. 35 with a long injury history, that's where he's at.
So is it better to have a true difference-maker, a guy that can win you games by himself, around half of the time, or a decent Janson-type player that's always around, giving you a more consistent XI and pitching in for a goal every 3 games?
