    He will be missed.

Vazquez was the final piece that made the team Champions in 2017. What a great player! I wish him all the luck.

He certainly will be missed. When healthy, he transformed our entire squad, and was a player that was a joy to watch.

He is a joy to watch and made everyone around him better. His passing and composure will be surely be missed. His addition to the team created so many goals and he will be hard to replace.

Cheers and thank you to Victor!

So sorry to see VV go. We'll always have 2017 and the best MLS team ever. Good luck to wherever he ends up.

I'm a bit surprised by the news. He was the engine that made so much magic happen during that historic season.

Sorry to see you go legend. You will be missed. I think both sides win with this move just need to wait and see.

He’s getting older and he’s not going to get another big paycheck in MLS. Toronto needs to get younger in attack, and it just so happens a Qatari team is willing to sign that big contract and pay the transfer fee.

He was that missing piece we needed to win that Cup!

Will miss the hearts after his goals, and his determination in the games, with some of the magic he displayed.

Class player and wish him nothing but all the best.

This move only makes sense if they plan to use Seba in a purely attacking mid role, and with that, they have their eyes on a quality forward. Otherwise, it is a stupid decision, one that we will all regret.

Best passer in TFC history. Watched some absolute world class passes at BMO field because of this man. He was the man that got us over the MLS Cup hump. One of, if not my favourite player to put on a TFC jersey. Thank you Vasquez for everything.

Damn! Sucks he's leaving. But man, what a valuable player he was for our side on that magical run in 2017. He'll be hard to replace.

    Gracias Victor!

With respect to those who came before, best midfielder we ever had. Legend. I wish he'd been healthier throughout his career and could've had his dream go on at Barca but we benefited greatly from his dedication and he has made our club history.

This guy was THE guy that took us over the top imo, I mean, he had help of course, many good players around him, BUT he was the connector. Great player when healthy. Good Luck to him.

We have rarely, oh so rarely, seen the likes of Victor on our pitch. It was not just his magic with passing, it was his ability to get into position for the pass, in the spaces that opposing defenders failed to close. Too many games I would find myself, the moment TFC won a battle for the ball, looking for the path that Victor was taking. He was a delight to watch.
Never want to close the door to the eventual return of Victor Vazquez. Maybe the day after he gets tired of counting money in Qatar, he will find a way back to us.

Honestly, this was surprising, if not shocking, out of the BIG 4, he would be / was not the one i thought would be first to go.

Really sad to hear this. I was hoping for a turnaround year after Victor's battles with injury.

Remind me never to ask players during the last game of the season if they will be here next season. My bad.

Victor Vazquez's 2017 MLS season was up there with the best. His ability to create and find his teammates in the final third is at a level not many people ever reach. Wish him the best of luck, truly a joy to watch this player.

    WTF WTF WTF

How, when, why is this happening? Is this his decision or was it spurred by the club?

My jaw is nearly on the floor.
