The last three seasons has seen a drop in weekend games. Like last year, only 11 of 17 games will be played on Saturday or Sunday. Back in the early seasons most games were played on Saturdays. We've never played a regular season game on a Monday or Tuesday. Not sure what has spurred the Friday night games these last three seasons. In terms of match start times, MLSE seems be to experimenting all the time. A few years ago, a third of our games took place in the early afternoon (12pm-2pm), whereby this coming season, we are playing none - the earliest start time is 3pm. 12 of 17 games are night (7pm-8pm) games this year. In 2009, we only played 3 of 15 at night. Fun fact: a regular season match at never started at 2:30 or 6:30.

I would love to see the concession sales data by day of week and start time. Weather plays a role on attendance, which of course impact sales. But I'm sure the day of the week, and start time of the game have a huge impact on sales too. Sales per attendee would be an interesting measure. I'm far more likely to buy food at BMO during a 12-2 game. My beer consumption is pretty steady though, independent of day/time.
