Its all about the turf and being the second of three games in eight days and five in 15. Roster rotation will be huge here.

So Montreal is playing Colorado this weekend.

They were going to do fireworks.

Then well.... team press release is titled

Statement regarding tomorrow's match, fireworks and closures around @DSGpark due to plague.

    It's those damn anti-vaxxers.

ed-I just read the press release and it was just a typo. Shoulda said "plaque." Denver is a notorious bad teeth brushing city.

Apparently DC is finalizing a trade for Ola Kamara. Looks like they want to be a serious contender in the east.

Bono not too happy with his role in the team & Vanney: https://www.newwestrecord.ca/after-l...lay-1.23906381

Not really that surprising given his demotion (which was deserved as far as I'm concerned).

Hindsight is 20/20 and all that but damn we should've sold him to Europe in 2018.

Problem is Bono felt comfortable here. He didnít want to leave. We were prepared for him leaving on a transfer with Clint Irwin as a contingency.

Westberg is better and tbh Bono wasn't playing very well. Only one keeper gets to start. Bono needs to earn his way back in.

The bewilderment is a tad unbecoming. He was given an extended run after he made a number of blunders. The issues continued.

Anyway these guys are competitors and want to play. That part is not surprising.

Mrs. Wayne Rooney wants to go home so Wayne is shipping out at the end of the season. He likes where he is but she is missing her family.

Bono has been soooooo bad with the ball at his feet for the entire time he has had the net. That isn't a totally untenable fault, but the fact that he was terrible on goals for a calander year is the reason why he hasn't seen the pitch since Westburg has shown competancy. Westburg isn't the greatest goaltender in the worl but at least he looks like a footballer when somebody passes to him.

Bono survived on good reflexes and an above average defense on a dominant team with a powerful attack, meaning the defence required even less work, and Bono requiring the least.

Just how long is MLS going to put up with NYCFC playing on the shithole pitch that is Yankee Stadium? It might be an iconic baseball park but as a half ass football pitch itís a disaster. I watched their game against Houston last night and the divots that weíre coming up on the temporary grass were unbelievable. At one point a three foot long gash six inches deep came up forcing a City player to attempt temporary repairs while the game went on. Itís only a matter of time before a player gets seriously hurt on that Frankenstein park. And thatís before we get into the narrowness of the field that turns the game into pinball soccer. The league would never put up with it if it was in any other city (save maybe LA) Itís time MLS took action and set NYCFC a deadline to move to a proper grass field designed for soccer or boot them out the league. Itís not that NYCFC canít afford it since they part of a global football corporation that owns three clubs including the English Champions. Itís time the put up or got out. MLS are allowing them to make a mockery of the game playing on that abomination of a pitch. I wonít say NYCFC gain an advantage playing there (no team could on that piece of shit) but at least they are familiar with it and itís pitfalls which does give them somewhat of an edge

MLS will give them forever, because they donít want another ďNew YorkĒ Red Bulls.

Itís not as easy as throwing money at the problem, and NYC is the biggest blemish on Garberís time as commissioner.

Look at Beckhamís group in Miami, which should be a trivial market to operate in compared to NYC.

Don Garber wanted a team inside New York City in the worst way possible. And he got it.

But one wonders what would happen if the Yankees decide to pull out of their arrangement and kick NYCFC out of their stadium. How much shitting will Garber do in his pants?

Yankees own a stake in NYCFC along with City Football Group. The understanding was the pigeons are allowed to roost at Yankee Stadium until they built their own stadium in the New York boroughs. Easier said than done, with several proposed sites stalled or worse.

Dichio still top 10. That says something, seems kind of amazing.

Pozo will catch him later this year.

Look who's just behind him, some talentless 22 year old who never scores.

And look who else is up there, some other guy with no talent whom Vancouver just signed.

Stunned Plata only had three for us before he was gone.

RSL has fired Petke for repeatedly yelling Puto in the refs face after a Leagues cup game.

If we get rid of Vanney, anybody in here who suggests him is going to get an earful.

That would be an incredible way for MLSE to completely undermine years of work in the LGBTQ+ community. Petke is not going to coach professionally again.

No place in sport (or anywhere) for this sort of behaviour. Not only is it offensive and unprofessional, the way he went about it makes him look like a psychopath.

Considering MLS and US Soccerís stance on ďthe chant,Ē youíd have to be a degenerate idiot of epic proportions to even consider doing this in the first place.

    Good riddance. What a moron.

Wasn't it Curtis who hired Petke for New York? If true, then he could be Curtis' choice to replace Vanney.
