So your point is he has the versatility to score from the wing and centrally as if that is a criticism? You take out his game against Atlanta and he still matches Urruti's rate, that is how much better he was. And now with Urruti's raise he is only 1/3rd of the salary while being a better player. Thankfully our decision makers don't have weird obsessions with bang average former players like some on here do.

Got it. Anybody would take Janson over Urruti, it's just obvious.

    All set here.

I can't believe that they paid $75k for the privilege of overpaying Urruti.

Oh wait, it's Montreal, for sure I can believe it.

Unfortunately disclosure in this league is still opaque. Maybe there’s something else to this? Even Montreal at face value can’t be this dumb.

Joey Saputo is still the brain trust no matter what he says to the media so that means a lot of dumb is possible.

This article suggest Fabian Johnson would be a good pick up for us. Don't know him well but his description sounds like a player we could pick up (RB, RWB, RW fast player).

Given his attitude while playing for the Yanks, I doubt he ends up on a team with Bradley.

What did he do? I also heard Geoff Cameron has issues with Bradley so I doubt it's him.

Cameron scorched earth with everyone on the Yanks bar Bedoya last year.

Johnson got sent home by Kilnnsmann as he was advising USMNT players that had knocks to go home to their clubs instead of powering through international windows. Mainly players in Europe

Thiesson available in waiver draft. Minnesota got his rights from us in the first place. Something to keep an eye on.

I know it's the Mail, but... could this be for real? Is Liam Miller considering MLS?

Going heavy on midfield depth, as Bez promised.

edit: RB depth as well as he's played there also.

This is a rock solid signing for the Reds, some good MLS experience here.

Lots of experience and has been a pretty decent MLS player. Hasn't really shown he's back after an injury. We'll see.

Hey I'll take a lottery ticket but Colorado didn't just want to pick him in Stage 2? They have the 3rd pick. Unless they were really that worried of him getting scooped by San Jose or Orlando.

Irwin would be a starter for most MLS sides.
Colorado didn't give much, second rounders don't usually become first team starters these days.

He honestly isn't worth much. His level plus his salary is not good. I re-watched the 2016 playoffs this week, back when he was 'good' and he was terrible on a lot of goals against. Just awful. And he was even worse the past two seasons when rusty. He was going to be jettisoned for nothing anyways so even if the second rounder never pans out, TFC2 need players. Turning him into anything is a win.

Sad to see him go. He's part of an historic TFC team that will never be forgotten, and will be treated accordingly any time he's in Toronto.

I don’t love this if he still makes $275K next year.

I guess Auro is not coming back.
