Looking at the last 3 years, he actually has had a pretty decent goals/assists per 90 minutes. Wolfsburg was bad no doubt. This would be a great signing. I would be very impressed. Ciman would know him...
I don't even think of Wolfsburg as bad. Guy is talented as all hell. His current options are Fulham and Wolves and the window is closed in England. We pried Giovinco from the jaws of AS Monaco, this is doable.

I would be surprised if we spend anywhere near this on a new signing. They keep hinting the budget is going down (and certain corners of the press are essentially confirming it is).
Either this is a masterful game of playing dumb in the press to make their counterparts think their pockets are empty as a negotiating ploy or (more likely) we actually can’t pull this sort of signing off.
I’m expecting something from South America less than Pitty or an underwhelming European option.

From the same person who broke the VDW thing, he told me last week, there was a chance he might go back to training with the team. I just don’t understand how you can let him. I know you probably can’t get rid of him cause of his salary, but bringing him back gives off such a shit message to the rest of the team.
