    Default Vazquez Shut down for the rest of the season

    Toronto FC confirmed on Monday that midfielder Victor Vazquez is being shut down for the remainder of the season after recently having arthroscopic knee surgery.

    No surprise there.

    Good thing is that recovery these days is fast and relatively uncomplicated.

    Sure why not. Let's keep the party going. I think Mavinga needs hernia surgery too. He might as well go get that done or did he have that already when he was away recently?

    I'm a bit confused about this. I thought that Vazquez had a back & nerve problem, which indirectly affected his legs as well (due to numbness). Did they figure out it was actually a knee problem? Or is the knee a separate / additional problem?
