I figure with the Reds playoff chances still alive by whatever a slim margin, Greg will send out something of a reserve team Wednesday night. Maybe even call up someone like Endoh from TFCII who has been on one heck of a hot streak of late including a hat trick vs. Cincinnati.

With an important game on Saturday night at the Red Bulls this is not a time to risk injury/fatigue as much as I want the Reds to win this. I also don't expect Tigers either to run out a top flight squad.

Tigres has their Classico against Monterrey this weekend. They are in a playoff battle.

We may see jersey numbers with three digits on the field.

There may be stipulations on how many regular starters have to play at least part of the game.

    I would figure as much.

Bradley will play (because he always does), flip a coin to get either Jozy or Seba, and Janson over Vazquez would be mu guesses.

I think we'll see Jozy and Janson up front, since Seba has been piling on the minutes all season. Maybe Endoh starting instead of Jozy.

Midfield will be Bradley with Delgado and Chapman.

Fullbacks will be whoever we have that isn't hurt.

Bench will be Deba, Oso and our typical bench depth.

We will be playing to win, but not going all in.

I'm pretty sure Jozy will be starting. He needs minutes, not rest right now.

Manning was on 1050 this morning and said all the big guns want to play in this game. As much as they shouldn’t, I bet you see almost a full squad for at least the first half

C'mon, the regular season is a lost cause. That simplifies things.

Even if it weren’t, you have to go all out in this game.

If you don’t understand that, no one can explain it to you.

TFC III will play on Tuesday night to fulfil their commitments to League 1 Ontario even though they have declined to participate in the playoffs because they are involved in the USSDA season--going to Ohio on the weekend and playing Columbus and Cleveland academy teams.

Therefore, don't expect any teenage players!

Yep, if anyone was going to play from outside of the first team it would have been Endoh who is on fire in the USL.

it's beyond me why people don't rate this match.

I'd love for TFC to be the first to win this as it will gain importance as the years progress imho

it's a trophy and one that will be noticed throughout N.A.

Just a heads up, TSN goes to air at 8:30 so kickoff will be sometime after that. Is this the latest start ever for a game at BMO I wonder?

MLS lists it as an 8:15 start (as does the Campeones Cup website), the TFC website says 8:00, and you're right that TSN1 coverage starts at 8:30. My guess is the kickoff is almost right at 8:30. (It's just SportsCentre from 8:00 to 8:30 so it's not like TSN couldn't pre-empt it)

Island residents won't be happy. Isn't there an 11pm curfew for stuff that close to the shore?

Not sure if that pertains to footy matches at BMO as it does to concerts at The Budweiser Stage? Music definitely carries across the water.

With a 8:30 broadcast start it would likely be something like a 8:37 kickoff with a little bit of lead in. The 8:15 thing is way to get people into the stands earlier.

It was either the Tigres or Liga Mx account that gave the game away on twitter the other day. They said kick off is 7:38 local time which is 8:38 our time.
