    incredible,

I am too lazy to calculate what the odds were if game stayed at 2-1
now that game is tied 2-2,
with our A team starting our odds of winning the CDN championship is around 80%

I don't even know what to say about that. Am I going to have to listen to a post game presser about how our master gameplan worked?

For some reason I thought ricketts some how got a touch on that ball.
He gets pushed of the ball easily. 2 hand balls. And that header from josy he should have ran to the near post.

The goal in atl was the most awkward goal ever. What's wrong with him lol

Totally thought ref should've called a foul on us at 94:30 on that push. Figured the ref was just thinking "whatever, the games over anyways" then henry does that

Classic gangly uncoordinated MLSer. Plays because he has ‘good physical attributes’.

Hamilton should've come in. Need 3 Canadians so Bakero really could only replace Altidore

Over time luck evens out. We had our share of bad fortune on many occasion over this season. We have now had luck on our side for the last two games.

Despite the crazy ending, the Reds play a man up is just disturbing, they simply don't know how to do it with the extra open space. They have to figure it out big time. Regardless they have the advantage going into next week at home, back on the grass.

The substitution vanney made to take out mavinga was a big mistake. Should have taken out Morgan for morrow. Once mavinga left we are nothing in the back Haggs was good.

Or baring that... how about at least pretending to get players forward? We were watching 8 guys play behind the ball for the entirety of the half. Absolutely gutless coaching from Vanney.

Any victory and a 0-0 and 1-1 draw at BMO wins it for us

Mavinga came off because of muscle tightness. But yes, without him or Moor back there, Zavaleta and Hagglund are often doing headless chicken impressions.

That was pathetic. Team looked dead on their feet. If we play like that next week, we will lose the game.

And, to be blunt, who here thinks Vancouver can't score 2 versus us next week?

Canadians next week should be Osorio Telfer & Morgan. Bring Vasquez on when we need him. I'm ok with Irwin in goal but I want to see both VDW & Mavinga back there.

We tied 2-2 not a 3-2 win. Those last two would see us lose

We had 4-6 guys forward all of the second half. The problem was the ball movement was slow & nobody was making any moves. Ricketts can't connect passes - he's a tap in guy. Jozy needs someone to connect with. Hamilton & Akinola are both better options.

At the end there, we had Zavs out on the wing. Trying to get more people in the box I suppose but it was ugly. He can't pass in traffic. It was painful.

Does Akinola count as a Canadian for this tournament by the way? I know he's a US youth international, but he did grow up in Canada and apparently was (is?) eligible for the national team. Just wondering. Checked the boxscores of the two games he played versus Ottawa we had 4 or 5 other Canadians on the field at the same time, so not sure.

I would dispute that. In the second half it was 90% playing it to Altidore’s feet around 40 yards from goal surrounded by defenders. They didn’t overload the flanks or make darting runs through the middle. We made clear strategic choices to sit back to try and neutralize the counter, a stark contrast from the first half.

Of course they were throwing guys forward at the end. They had already been embarrassed.

Some of my points have already been said but Ill repeat others.... We were a better team before they got the red card. After the card we played a poor game.
Jozy was quiet tonight. Ricketts continues to be unproductive considering his chance to play this year. Doesn't create anything by passes and doesn't hold up the ball well. For the few goals he has scored it seems they are him running to the net and the ball bounces off his body. I agree with others... Zav and Hagglund without Moor struggle. Hagglund continues to jump into holes then gets beaten bad and has to run like Bambi to try and catch an opponent streaking to our net. It seems like they need Drew to keep their line. On the flip side "hey" we played the away game to a 2-2 draw which is a really good result heading home. So congrats lads for playing Atlanta to a 2-2 draw on Sat, flying diagonally across the the U.S to Van for a Wed game and coming to play the home game with 2 away goals!

Ricketts was always up there but he's not really taking up space. Telfer & Morgan were always charging up the left. The right usually had somebody forward but Auro stops the momentum to do dribbling exercises & Delgado turned the ball in all the time. There was no urgency.
