By now I'm sure that the team has heard about the attack in Toronto. Heck, it's on the Wikipedia front page and CNN. I wonder if that will give them any extra motivation to do well for the city and give them something to take people's minds off the carnage. Will they wear a black armband perhaps?

Players were on twitter yesterday about it. Vanney reference it today - will be motivation for sure.

On another note, the team is going to extraordinary lengths to not let any media see training.

If Hagglund was also on the flight, then we know both players are not on their way down to play. This means they're bringing the whole team down to Mexico to celebrate the win. I love the confidence of this team.

She will be forever Red. If we have the names of all 10 victims by Saturday, how about a two stick with each person named.

I had a moment watching Liverpool-Roma where I allowed myself to think objectively about the scoreline. When Roma made it 5-2, my friends and I said Roma could salvage the tie and then it hit me if Roma can overcome a 3 goal deficit TFC can overcome a 2-1 defeat at home. Hell, it happens all the time all over the world. This is more than doable.

I have a nervous energy right now and I am having trouble concentrating at work. T-minus 16 hours until kickoff. This team are warriors and battle ready. We can do this. 2 years ago we walked into Yankee Stadium against NYC who during the season had a home record of 8 wins 3 losses and 6 draws with a +8 GD. They were supposed to be the stronger team and we put 5 on them. I realize that Chivas is no NYC and Akron is no Yankee Stadium, but the point remains the same. We are capable of doing this. This team is the class of the league and here is our chance to cement it. This 90 minutes will stress me to no end but it doesn't change a thing. I BELIEVE!!!

Heart and Balls to win it all. Lets win another trophy. ALL FOR ONE

Chivas team wearing shirts to practice protesting management. They will want to win to force management to "sign their cheque."

We understand what that is all about. It wasn't that long ago that we had a messed up management mishandling things.

Chivas will be very hard to beat. If TFC gets an early goal, if Vazquez can play at least part of the game there is a chance. If TFC starts down 2-0 it's game over.

    Nervously optimistic.

If it's any MLS team that has the talent and heart to pull it out, it has to be Toronto. Every player seems relaxed in all these interviews and social media posts.

My dad when he was coaching would always say, a team will have a bad game in a tournament, you just hope it doesn't cost you. TFC looks like a team that knows they've had their one "bad" game in the tournament but know that they have a lot of time to turn it around and will bring their A game tonight.

I would agree with the comment about Vazquez normally if he was at game fitness/sharpness and healed completely but I am not sure how much he can give. Also, I think it is risky using a sub for a player that might need a sub if his issue is as dodgy as it looks and it comes back after 10 min of game time. Bradley says the way to beat Chivas man to man formation is to constantly move fast which is not exactly Vazquez's thing. I would love to see a fully fit Vazquez out there but I don't think this is good timing to bring him back at this point. Good thing is I don't have to make that decision and Vanney does.

I'm finding it so hard to focus on work today. I'm trying not to get my hopes up but staying positive for the win. That early goal last week really was a spirit killer.
