So this match is on TSN2, dissapointing they won't out it on one of their main channels. They would rather put oklahoma city thunder.

Is that an Atlas player? I guess the enemy of your enemy is your friend.
All 22 Chivas players posted to twitter complaints yesterday about not getting bonuses. Big story down there.

Wow that's crazy. Here's an English article about this:

Listening to Max (Bretos) and Herc (Gomez) 's podcast, they are talking a bit about some serious friction between Chivas players and the club board over a number of grievances, including unpaid past performance bonuses, mentioned by Ensco above. Will be a subtext to the game on Wednesday. Also, a player strike is looming that may affect league games on the weekend, over player movement freedom.

^^Might be motivated to win Wednesday's game and the CONCACAF title, then tell team officials to stick it where the sun don't shine. TFC need to be prepared for this one.

That's the interpretation I had too, it's an "us v them" situation. Herc was thinking Chivas players might be distracted with all of it, but I can't buy it.
I don’t know if it's a bad thing overall, but I disagree with the consensus above - this bonus fight is not obviously a good thing for them.
Us against the world is good. Distraction is bad. Feeling that your good work is making others unfairly rich, is bad.

Lol the cheapest ticket is $50 canadian! (vs $5 Cad at azteca) they're stealing from the people of Jalisco to pay the greedy players!
"No tenemos plata para pagar a los jugadores" - Isabel Igellias Directivo Chivas
Athletes find motivation in many different ways. Wayne Gretzky used a column written by Star hockey scribe Bob McKenzie, saying he was finished, to play his best hockey in leading the Kings over the Leafs in the 1993 Stanley Cup semi finals. Michael Jordan used getting looked over as NBA MVP for Karl Malone to spearhead his Bulls past Malone's Jazz in the NBA Finals.
Getting the shit end of the stick by your team's employers financially definitely sucks for Chivas' players. But it didn't hurt them last week on the first leg of the final in frigid Toronto, and now they're playing with two away goals for their home fans on the second leg. I still say its a motivating factor for them that TFC need to be prepared for if they are to capture the CONCACAF title.

I agree. From what I understand, chivas will do everything for the title and then possibly protest afterwards (not playing for wins).
Or it could be they know they were lucky with all those chances tfc had and they like to settle their bonuses now before they feel tfc's wrath lol

Regardless of the Chivas situation, the boys cannot get side tracked from the plan. They must be prepared for a 90 minute war on Wednesday night. The mission is scoring, everything else is just noise at this point.
its close to impossible for us to win CCL now 2nd isnt bad, but we havent won in Mexico for the whole tournament, just hope no more injuries play your best always, and lets focus on the season now
Not sure what this means, makes me think it can't be good if he has missed training the last few days. Justin Morrow boarded a plane for Mexico this morning.
