It's such crap, that you should not lose even one minute trying it... otherwise you'll just bang your head on the walls.

Totally advocate using a grey area stream for this historic match, don't put it to chance.

    What’s a grey area stream?

102.1, just past 7.00 am this morning, host says "great time to be a Toronto sports fan, go leafs, go raptors".We've a pretty big match ourselves tonight mate, would have been nice to have got a mention, as we're actually in a final.Ah well, it's a marathon not a sprint with some of these people, we are doing better but still work to be done with the media.

^Be careful what you wish for. You want to pay $350 for bad seats at playoff games?

Z103... talked a couple mins about the leafs, the raptors game tonight, then oh my we have jays double header today and lastly "Toronto FC plays Guadalajara tonight in the CONCACAF Champions League final at 8pm, did I say that right?" then the girl says "not sure, but it's the last time we will talk about it anyways haha" and they go to a song... So about 6 seconds of TFC talk

Same on Q107. It was mentioned at the end that they play Chivas but no mention it was a final or anything. They had a replay of a goal that was scored in the Leafs game. Thought that was weird on a radio broadcast. A year ago TFC wouldn’t even have been mentioned but whatever.

Despite having tickets for the previous 2 matches against Tigre & Club America, I couldn't make it to the games. Not missing this one though.

I am completely pumped and hyped that we have this weather, and these conditions. Our boys have already been playing in this for months!

With the snow wrapping up around 2 pm, looking like we are in for what should be an ok decent Tuesday evening compared to what the last few days have seen. Looking to forward to just under 12 hours from now.

CP 24, mentioned the game, advertises the game and had a live view (only outside) from BMO field.

My only concern is why TSN 2? I know Raptors are playing but they're mostly popular in GTA so maybe TSN 1 or 5 could show TFC.

On the flip side, plenty of media from Mexico covering the game. Looks like they are finally cluing in that the glue that holds this team together is Bradley (~11:50).

It's a perfect sports day with the Reds in the evening, to kickoff things off hitting up the first game of the Jays double header in the afternoon.

I would not be surprised if that's just a way to get people into the stadium a little earlier, ease up things at the gate as kickoff gets closer.

We had 23k against America when it was pouring rain, cold and very windy. I think we will get more than 25k for the final.

Just checked ticketmaster, there are only a few resale tickets. There should be a full house tonight (or very close to).

MLS Extra Time podcast has a very good match preview. Summary:

Guadalajara will not come out to play. That is what got America and Tigres in trouble in Toronto, and Chivas aren't as good anyway. Chivas will bunker, same as they did at NY and at Seattle, and try to create chaos, ie they want a very physical, out of control game, so that yellow cards start flowing. Expect a frustrating, very concacaf game. The key for Chivas, almost the only thing they care about, is to get 2 or 3 of Bradley, Altidore, Gio and Osorio suspended for second leg.

This is why we want VV. He is the key to unlocking the bunker.

Amazing that we still don't know who the ref will be.

I think this prediction is correct on your part, and I think this strategy is correct on Chivas' part. If I were Vanney I would be very worried about the hot headedness of Giovinco and Altidore. Bradley usually is fine in scrums all things considered, but his position is inherently a yellow card magnet. I'm actually shocked he hasn't picked up that second one yet.

Here's a random guess for tonight:

    ----------------------------Bono-----------------------------
    --Auro---Van der Wiel------------Mavinga-----Morrow---
    -----------------------Bradley------------------------------
    --Delgado--------------------------------Osorio-----------
    ----------------------Vazquez------------------------------
    ------Giovinco--------------------Altidore-----------------

Bench: Irwin, Moor, Morgan, Hasler, Aketxe, Chapman, Ricketts

No way Moor is getting benched, and I'm not sure if you start Morrow over Morgan at this point; Ashtone has played well and earned his spot, and Morrow is cold right now. I think you stick with Morgan for now and bring Morrow back in for league play.

Manning was on 1050 this morning and mentioned that the guys have been sleeping in tents that restrict oxygen in order to prepare for playing at altitude. That's crazy!
I wonder if the Chivas guys have been sleeping in ice houses to prepare?

Seems that TFC have cancelled their planned rally for tonight due to the weather. Too cold to march but not too cold to play!

That's actually common for endurance athletes before big events. IT mimics the benefits of training at altitude.
