Gonna be the most spine tingling match we have ever been in.

I really hope these Mexicans fans behave
No CONCACAF ref for 2nd leg. Getting an AFC ref who will be at WC
Based on my calculations the probability of us getting through to the next round is around 80-85%
if we had of held them scoreless the probability would have gone up to 98% wow
Not in a deeply unfriendly 100,000 seat stadium at 5,000 feet it isn't

"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
The last time I heard something similar to this happening was way back in 1993 when CONCACAF brought in a UEFA German referee to officiate the Canada-Mexico WCQ at Varsity. The winner would win the qualifying group and advance directly to USA '94, and CONCACAF felt that there was no referee available within the confederation with the experience to handle such an important match.
Well at least the Reds will be getting an early start in that Mexico City elevation of 2,250 meters. Spoke with a few of the guys who did not dress this evening on the concourse and the Reds are heading down on Thursday. This should let them acclimate and be ready for next Tuesday. Plus America does have a road game this weekend in league play at Necaxa.
Remember The Man, The Legend, The Goal 5-12-07 and All That #9 Left On The Pitch, Thanks For The Memories !!!
So if Bradley, Gio, Altidore get a yellow in this 2nd leg and IF we make the finals.. they miss that game? it doesnt even get erased for the finals?!

Good post game analyses, in Spanish. For those who can understand.
I can't understand. Does anybody know enough Spanish to give us the gist of the discussion? It sounded like a more serious and less heated discussion compared to the Tigres post-mortem. All I could pick up is I think they admire Giovinco and maybe that Herrera shouldn't have said that stuff about Mexico looking to Europe than MLS?

They give quite a bit of credit to Morgan for his performance, especially on the play for the 3rd goal.
Yes - this isn't Mexico in a World Cup or Gold Cup game. 100,000 mid week week for a game vs a Canadian team? Maybe they get 40? Which could still feel fairly empty.
lol this looks funny i can't understand a lick...but i can tell there was one Club America fan in the panel and they are clowning him for it especially by the one standing up. BTW if anyone can translate the part where they were talking about the Police...and the comments made by both coaches. Thanks
A description of the experience from a Sounders fan who went two years ago

btw Seattle tied them at home, then took the lead at the Azteca, before the roof caved in.
