Congrats to Beita on a successful game for LAFC. It was a big victory for the first year club. Forever Red he shall be.

He’s left thinking about whether to bring the ball inside on his strong foot where it’s easier for defenders to challenge or trying to stick it out on the right side (with the benefit of the sideline).
All and all they’re doing him a disservice. Why the coaches are taking a punt on this is beyond me. It’s been tried before and flopped.
We should insist that if they are going to steal our players they at least use them properly.
Montreal incompetence is always to be encouraged. Always.
Daniel Lovitz played a really good game yesterday. I can believe overall Montreal is so small.
He actually did, in his defence. Both teams looked mediocre for the most part but Davies is going to be a star.
Not that Petrasso is tough to get the best of defensively but it looked like a training drill a lot of times with Vancouver constantly feeding Davies on the wing,
Separate note: Kaye appears to be winning early plaudits for LAFC... good on him.

Plata scores his first of the year. Let's see if he gets more than seven. Urruti banks one in to tie it up. Tesho on the bench, Reid I'll be looking for.

“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”
-Eduardo Galeano
I assume this comment was made before Montreal scored from that beauty Lovitz ball in. Not sayin but just sayin. Other talking points from this one were
Whitecaps at home in black? Sigh.
Kamara scores first for season and first ever for Vancouver. One more and he ties Buddle all time for a century- but I'm more interested in his leadership/mentorship for the next and first ever MLS goalscorer Davies.
