The transfer certificate stuff always takes a few days.

This signing is a big deal.

The idea that TFC can compete with teams in the big first divisions for players on a free, that is thrilling.

The game will likely be moved to Wednesday or Thursday afternoon and played at +3. I can't see them playing Tuesday night in -14 weather when they can just move it out 12-36 hours.

Out of all the days, Tuesday is the only day that looks to be an outlier as far as unmoral temperatures. Game will be re-schedueled by 1 or 2 days max. chill out

I'm sure we all hope that would be the scenario. However there doesn't seem to be any indications they intend to move it. Unless you know something I dont.

Sigh, the amount of break aways
Barrett missed was jokes... It was the turf fields fault though.

Sorry, but each and every week there will be a ben spencer hate fest, until he will prove that he's not an alien in the full TFC roster for 2018.
Which my guess is that will never happen...

    +1

I get why they want a guy that plays his style on the roster but he doesn’t play that style at a high enough level to warrant a spot

The TFC coaching staff and management built a great team that won it all and mad some history along the way. I think they know what they are doing. If they want Spencer around so be it as far as I am concerned. I will believe in Vanney and Bez and their opinion over anyone on this forum as to whether it makes sense that he is on the team or not. Until they put him in a critical role on the team where he fails miserably I don't see why people spend any time hating on the guy. He played in 3 partial games last year and got an assist in 2 games out of the 3. If he can assist on a goal in two thirds of the games he is involved in for the first team that is not that bad.

This is about accountability not just for the player but for the front office and the club.

If you want this club taken seriously then every single spot on this roster needs to be scrutinized.

If Spencer, Altidore, Bono, whomever doesn’t cut it, then they need to be held accountable regardless of whether they are the 1st or 5th string player in their position.

It says something to your youth players when you re-sign a player who showed poorly not just in the first team but the second team as well, whilst other players have shown arguably better than him on the same stage and at a younger age (Hundal for example). It further frustrates people when the club becomes hypocritical by saying that first team players need to prove themselves at TFC II and they sign and re-sign a guy who did not.

    End rant

Haters gotta hate, and they have fewer possible targets than they did in seasons past, when for example, we saw much more negativity directed at Bradley and Jozy.

    “Arguably”. Based on what?

One side: you, and whatever you have seen.
Other side: the MLS Cup winning management staff, who have seen every game, every practice, every interaction. That is 1000x what you have seen.

I hope the incoherent frustration of Spencer haters peters out soon. The guy deserves indifference, not hate.

one rule in TFC fanbase. there must be at least one scapegoat per season
