It was a long road from the first Danny Dichio goal all the way to tonight. Extraordinary in every way and what a performance it was in the final game. We'll be reminiscing about this match for decades.
What an incredible night, every fucking player showed up, they played with their hearts, they played for revenge, they wanted the cup more than anyone. I can't believe I would ever witness this day, but its here. The celebration continues Monday
He was posted up many times by Dempsey, Lodeiro etc just outside the 18 but was never beat. Man, Seattle were the hot team steamrolling the west without conceding. The guest on Come on You Reds podcast were predicting a Seattle win based on 'form'.
In the end this looked like an FA cup game between an EPL and Championship club
Worst team in the world!!
What a time to regain their dominant summer form.
Alex Bono is a GD hero. This side was one Bono save from bowing out early to the Redbulls. He and Jozy put this team on their backs through a pretty tough stretch where it just wasn't clicking for them. Bradley too.
Love how Marky is singing the Canadian National Anthem too lol. Might as well make the switch right now!
Wow...so many emotions right now. I haven't been a regular contributor on these boards for awhile, but as a fan since day one, just feel so thankful. It's been a long road for us to get to this point, and just am so thankful for this team as well as all of you who have been a part of this journey these last 11 years!
Top 10 Dad with Kid moment.....definite Top 10.

Totall agree about Oso. Game of his life. So proud of him. Wish he'd scored on that nice volley early on. Coulda started the avalanche. Frei stood on his head.
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”
-Eduardo Galeano
Been a loyal fan since 2007 and a RPB since the Opening game vs Chivas in 2007 . I have seen the good and many bad times but I always remained loyal no matter what . I try to make it to at least 3 to 5 games a year and have always enjoyed the BMO experience big time. Yesterday was just awesome even though I was a little worried until Altidores goal I tell you The place were I watched the Edelweiss in Kitchener everybody were relieved more so than happy. Now Bring on Champions League vs the Mexican teams
In case anyone was wondering what the huge delay was before the Seattle corner kick in the 82nd minute: some of the cables from the sky cam had fallen down on the players.

Officiating was a big problem, but I was happy that they didn't give more than 4 minutes extra time, all things considered. Just enough time for Victor to seal the victory.
An incredible night of footballing redemption. It was so deserved - 2 Cup Finals in a row Seattle failed to score...they have a vaunted defence but ours is better.
The Logic had it that there is a big gulf in quality between the East and the West. By all rights we were expecting to see a dominant TFC win. That was proven out to be exactly the case - our tough grinding wins in the Eastern Conference were a sign that we were playing better teams..nothing more. Frei was the only challenge that team had - but even he couldn’t stop the tide.
Vanney’s comments “we are not finished yet” make for an exciting 2018 to come. With edfective doubling of the salary cap we have a game changing moment for MLS. An organization that is willing to spend can take big advantage of that. For TFC with the base we have - and willingness to spend it could mean CONCACaf is possible.
What a night! They played so well and dominated Seattle. This was the total team performance that we saw throughout the summer. TFC picked apart the sounders defence and the score line was complimentary to them. Hats off to Vanney for superb tactics and coaching.
You could tell that every player on that field wanted it. From the hustle to the chances created... it was a team possessed. Oh what a feeling!
Question:
Watched it Live but now I want to sit at home and watch it again in a relaxed stat and take it all in. Anyone know where we can watch a replay of it? Checking tv schedules but no where to be found.

“TFC weren't completing "empty" passes, they were methodically and ruthlessly ripping the Seattle midfield apart and forcing them to chase shadows. They won this game and completed the first domestic treble in league history by playing beautiful, flowing, irresistible soccer against a team that hadn't given up a goal in a month-and-a-half while at the same time strangling the life out of Seattle's attack.“

I kinda forgot about feeding the kids this morning...hit my group chat with my TFC girls at 5am then catching up on the boards and posting pics/videos, with the Mersyside Derby playing in the background...my DH has whipped up a grand English breakfast for us - he's a rockstar when it counts!
