Game Day!
I'll be honest I wasn't feeling it heading into the weekend, but I am right psyched for a TFC win on the road.
I'd really like to see Hasler get the start today, and maybe a pairing of Ricketts and Hamilton up top.
Apparently in the upper deck to the right but across from the cameras - visible and an easy shot to get.
We are one of the best teams in league history. We are NOT one of the best teams in league history because of our DPs. Our DPs can be great on the day, but haven't been great over the season. None is the team MVP, that's Vazquez.
We have had simply stellar seasons from Vazquez, Morrow, Mavinga, and Delgado. Ricketts, Osorio and Hasler have all scored goals and been effective in supporting roles.
I think we will win in a walk tonight. They will be going for it, and exposed on the counter.

Only 1 game did we allow a goal.
We are the only team in MLS that had a winning away record this season. We can do it.
Away goals are the key. And I think we can generate a couple as it seems we're gearing up to go for it.
FWIW.....that is the formation Larson projects for tonight.....with Oso in for Cheyrou
I am hoping for a Hasler start I think he would have more of an impact than Oso or Cheyrou (both slow) Crew will be playing up-tempo. Hasler has an eye for goal as well.
Hasler is not a replacement for Osorio or Cheyrou....he would be coming it at Beitashour or Ricketts' (since apparently Hasler plays Striker too) expense, and it probably wouldn't be a wise move to bench either one...
I can maybe see Hasler coming in for Beita 2nd half if need be......

The layoff was long but I've been getting ramped up that last few days with old videos and the TFC site content.
Twitter is just littered with people detailing their trip down so looks like the TFC estimate of 1k could be spot on.

I have a feeling Hasler is more versatile than we know. This lineup will be interesting no matter how it shakes out.
We've seen this before: sometimes having major players out can help more than it hurts, because the other team has as little clue about the lineup as we do. Especially given our depth. (We have now had goals from 16 different players this season, all competitions.) Nothing guaranteed, but if our guys come out focussed and motivated, it's gonna be good.

I hate to say it but I expect Spencer to start over Hamilton. Vanney seems to favour him which I just don't get - If you want a target striker who's only job is to get a head on the ball then I'd rather see Hagglund in the striker spot.
If we get ahead then we might park the bus and go with four at the back instead of three CBs with Oso coming on. Or Oso comes on for Spencer. I also expect Cooper to get on the field at some point. He seems to be in good form right now.
He is interchangeable with anyone in front of Bradley. He's played mostly (only?) wingback for TFC but his preferred position is midfield and he has some experience as a striker.

I think VV plays up and plays Tos forward. I don't think that Spencer plays in a game of this magnitude. I know Vanney likes him, but the experiment was not a great success.

I remember about one month ago someone posted here that on youtube almost all MLS games are uploaded (full games), some time after the match ended... may be even a full day later.
