Not going well for Atlanta at all here.
Not going well for Atlanta at all here.
I wasn't taking a shot at Atlanta - Just surprised they didn't get even more in the stadium
This is the best game I have seen in a long time!
WE DID IT!
Columbus!!!!! Hats off to ATL for their incredible inaugural season but it's nice to see them out of the picture
It seems losing on PKs sucks

Columbus didn’t play bad but for Atlanta to go out on penalties like that... ouch.
Wow.
Wow, wow, wow.
The Crew! I love Atlanta being put in their place. Especially after the booing last week.
My god what a game.
Suck it Atlanta.
Sooooooooooooo quiet in that stadium.
Wowowow the piss stains knocked off atl. Steffen HUGE for them tonight.
Happy to see this result. Hope it blows up in Precourt's face somehow.
Fun game to watch.
So what maybe 5000 show up in Columbus for their playoff game , if they don’t sell this playoff game out then they deserve to be moved I’m sorry.
I think Columbus will beat NYCFC

Aaaaaaamd the big, scary Atlanta monster is gone.
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”
-Eduardo Galeano
I don't want to get ahead of ourselves here but.... are we looking at one last TFC invasion of Columbus in the ECF?
I bet we'd have more people at that game than locals.

Man, I woke up and just had a feeling Columbus might pull it out. What a crazy game.
Columbus averaged 17,000 plus according to MLS. Seems their attendance is fine.
It’s those games that runs are either born with to the energy unlocked, or die with the emotion spent.
Well. Atlanta is more like Outalanta.
No doubt CLB will beat NYC at home... but can NYC get at least a goal to help with aggregate.
Are CLB playing like last year's Sounders... running out the year without losing?
Per Larson:
The Crew have been really good against average-to-bad teams this season. Eleven of Crew SC's 16 wins have come against teams that were outside of the playoff picture entering Decision Day. What’s more, Columbus were just 5W-9L-5D against teams above the playoff line this season. They won’t have the luxury of facing Orlando three times in the postseason.
The Red Bulls have three wins since the end of July, one of which came against a depleted Vancouver Whitecaps side and the other in a zero-stakes match against D.C. United. The Red Bulls want to create scoring chances using their hard press, but it also leaves them stretched throughout games — something that’s seen them concede far too often to win a championship. They haven’t shown an ability to adapt to the game state.
that pitch in houston.jezzz
No goals through 160 minutes tonight....
