Have at It People
This will be the event in the history where our man Greg(Father) will show Tata that he's the real boss!
One or three are both fine with me. Play the best to be the best ever. Love it.
FORMER FULL TIME KOOL-AID DRINKER
After watching the last game and watching Moor lose a step, I wonder if Vanney might replace him with Hagglund on the backline. Atlanta has a lot of young speed and TFC will need their youth to counter that.
so.... who's down for Shoeless Joe's ?

For those who are not fortunate enough to be going to Atlanta - next best thing is going to JOE'S.
Let's fill it up and cheer loudly for 'Our Boys in Red'.
As a Barrovian, I am genetically programmed to now say the word
Scum!!

Atlanta needs a win to ensure a home playoff game. They will go all out in the first 20 minutes and then tire and get fragile. In some ways, they are a lot like Montreal. If we can keep them to only being up by 2 goals after 30 minutes, we can come back and kill them.
I might be in TO this weekend, if so I'll make it to Joes
Wish I was in Atlanta to check out that new stadium but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a playoff meeting.
If we draw or win and Columbus draws or wins away to NYCFC, Atlanta is knocked down to 5th and they have to go on the road for a knockout match at either Columbus or Chicago.
well then try a
Crispy Shrimp Noodle Bowl "Egg noodles piled high in a ramen-style broth. Finished with sliced almonds, red peppers, green onion, mint and basil. Topped with a boiled egg and crispy shrimp drizzled with sweet chili."
is there a number of people going down? will there be a pub or something to meet at before the game?
I hope they send TFC2 to this game.
I don’t see this as a game where you can regain “form”. But I definitely see this as a game where you can get guys hurt.
"There are some people who might have better technique than me, and some may be fitter than me, but the main thing is tactics. With most players, tactics are missing. You can divide tactics into insight, trust, and daring." - Johan Cruyff
I do agree. However I also think this game could serve as an opportunity to become a tad accustomed to the field and as Vanney would probably say "the sightlines" ! I think the road to MLS cup goes through Atlanta for us and I'll take any small advantage we can get in preparation
as much as i get what you're saying i can't see it happening as we have a bye week after this match along with the old momentum thang combined with the team mentality all season of going for each game - doubt they'd want to break the pattern at this juncture - imho
i think he'll start the A team and potentially sub early if need be....
Something Bradley said about treating every game like the cup is something have heard other world champs say - Can't see them not playing the first picks here especially against a possible contender in a new, big stadium
There is no way the don't start the A team for this one. This is the leagues marquee match up on decision day. A chance at the all time points record in front of a record setting crowd, not to mention getting the guys into the playoff atmosphere that this game with have. Atlanta wants/needs the win to avoid scoreboard watching. I hope we use this game to get the cohesion that has been missing the last few games. That and I think Villalba is an asshole so I hope for 3 points
I doubt they play. One unforeseen red card or injury to a key player and Vanney is taking major heat. That’s a far bigger risk than worrying about rounding into form.
45 minutes max for the DPs, including Vasquez. One of Altidore or Giovinco sits.
[mod edit] getting back on form is probably the most important thing going into the playoffs, bye week or not, potential injuries are always a worry in every match, cards don't matter. Playoffs are whole new competition, so no cards roll over. Just my opinion as is yours
