    Amazing!! Glad it's done.

Have to say, I don't understand Marsch resting BWPS and Klejstan for so long. What are you resting them for? You're desperate for points!

Wow, amazing win. First home game I missed all season, but I watched it at home until the last minute -- pissing off my sister, who I had to take to the airport to catch her flight home to Germany. It was worth it, excitement until the end!

Only niggle -- after two losses, and up 2-0, I was not happy with the naivete TFC displayed by pushing so many players forward and leaving them open to an easy counter-attack goal. Others mentioned that above during the game as well. That was totally unnecessary, and it let the Red Bulls back into the game. TFC have to cut that shit out for the playoffs.

Wow, a wingback with a hat trick (2nd defender in MLS history to do so). JMO just had the game of his life, a redemption for last year's PK miss. Best LB in the league.

The Supporters' Shield is finally ours, 11 years in the making, amazing! Next.....the MLS Cup.

If I'm being honest, I did also. After the final whistle and people where leaving, I just sat there for a bit, somewhat in disbelief but enjoying the moment.

I migrated down to the corner @ 110 to stand for a bit after the game, and I was impressed by how long everyone stuck around in the east stands. Everything was full for the full "Justin Morrow *clap* *clap* *clapclapclap*, Viking clap, and picture posing. Didn't seem like people were in a hurry to leave.

    What a night!

Bruised my hand on the go train tunnel walk from hitting the sign so hard. Woke up with no voice.

    Unreal night.

Great win last night! Upsetting to see so many leaving before the 90th minute. I guess some did not know what this game meant.

    The good:

    • Best team in MLS history, what a team.

    • 3rd in MLS attendance - 26,000 +
    • T.V viewership up 39 %
    • The crowd looks full between the 20th minute and 40th minute. It also looks full between the 55th minute and the 80th minute.

    The challenges:

    • Fans are showing up late and leaving early. It also looks like people are not in attendance after half time.
    • While T.V. viewership is up, it's up only to 93,000 from 59,000.
    • Media & Marketing does a terrible job of pitching MLS and TFC in my opinion. They are not leveraging the internet age to there advantage as well as they could in my opinion.
    • They don't sell a very good "story" a good story is needed to sell. Facts tell, stories sell. It's only when I educate fans on MLS cup, concacaf champions league (Being the BEST in North America) FIFA world cup etc do I get them interested.
    • They need to change perception about MLS. Even if it's not a top league in the world they need to slowly change perception and let people know it's becoming one of the best. Price is perception of the buyer

Note - I feel even the Toronto maple leafs games look empty after the 2nd intermission resumes.

After we scored the 4th goal and a minute into play, I looked around and didn't see anybody in my section standing.

I kind of roared a few into doing so but a lot of people had no idea what the shield was.

Regardless, those of us who know how tough this accomplishment is...its tougher then the MLS Cup....we know that this was something special.

He did a pirouette recovery in the air and another on the ground.

I don't know why he's not playing in the lower half of the French Div 1. Left footed CD's with that much pace are gold.

That's the North American sports mentality. Get out before traffic hits. Catch that first train. Couple that with the whole playoffs are more important opinion, you get people leaving.

Concession and bathroom lines make for empty sea at the start of halftime.

He's like an octopus. I'm constantly amazed by his ability to get his foot around the opposition and make a play on the ball.

I was one who had to leave after VV's penalty unfortunately. Have a two year old who had to get home to sleep. If you leave after the game is done and you're driving it adds a minimum half hour to the drive.

It is certainly endemic here in Toronto but what you are saying is not true. I've witnessed this in person at La Liga games as well.
