Toronto FC Tim's Cards
hey guys, When you guys are in your local Timmies, start taking photos of the card displays, and lets see if we can get Tim Hortons to issue a TFC themed card.
i wish i had come up with a hashtag for it, but i guess if i were to use one, it would be #TFCTimCard

This is my peeve when it comes to Ontario license plates. Why is there no TFC plates
This stuff is always part of a larger marketing agreement. Are there such cards for the Leafs or Raptors? If so, then have a word with Manning. If not, then its between MLSE & Tims.
There are leaf cards for sure, I have one. Not sure about the raps.
For the license plates, I asked years ago and MTO told me that it was led by the company - MLSE had to apply to MTO for the logo to be made and applied to plates. At the time, and this was 5+ years ago before the dark times, they told me that the program was being paused.
I wish I had that info still... There is a thread about the license plates somewhere.
But yeah, I'm up for anything with a logo.

sure tims might not be owned by a canadian company any more (dont actually know this myself), but it recognizably is a Canadian mainstay and as such promotes the local market teams, in many Canadian teams. There are for sure NHL cards, Jays cards, and CFL cards, but i have yet to see one MLS card.
And sure MLSE might have to approach Tims to make it happen, but as it stands TFC is currently the only team that looks like a chance at winning anything yet it is under represented.
Good to know im not the only one at that.
I would get a TFC plate ASAP.

It's now jointly owned by an American investor and a Brazilian hedge fund. The Brazilian hedge fund calls the shots. There has been an incredible amount of conflict between franchisees and the company since the takeover. There is zero Canadian about Tim's, McDonald's Canada is more "Canadian" than Tim's because decisions are made in Canada.

I think league issue because Raptors don't have their own Tim cards either. I believe Leafs have Tim cards due to NHL agreement with Tim Horton's?
marketing at TFC is lost, for a team that plays in Toronto it's unbelievable that you can't by a winter stadium coat online.
They could have made a killing last year and hopefully (knock wood) this year as well.
There may be a solution - we could get RPB cards... :-)

ya i know had that idea last year at the end of the year, and had to park it for some time. I'm interested in picking that project back up again, soon
