My take on yesterday's TFC Open Practice but more important the TFC II vs Charlotte Independence game.

Just listened and quite enjoyed - looking forward to future episodes

i do disagree re: local media attention - i do agree that it certainly has increased but to see the Argos with multi headlines after a game (and a loss at that with little in attendance fan support-wise) and TFC, a first place team with a sold out stadium, with just you at the Sun and one other at the Star, and nominal coverage at best elsewhere, is still more than sad.

I grew up on the Argos- i'm not vying for their demise, although i'm not thrilled they're playing at BMO.

Never-the-less if Ray gets a scratch on his arm it's big news with multiple articles and TFC as a top team with world class players, gets one (if they're lucky) at best.

i understand and accept that TFC will not overtake the Leafs media attention in my lifetime, but with the support/attendance demonstrated at TFC games they should be getting much better media attention imho and I put that down to a bunch of old-school/out-dated dinosaur hangers-on sports reporters that just seem to have a fear and aversion to the success of soccer for whatever reason.

anyway - i loved the first show and will tune-in and not drop-out.
