For those wondering what DCU has been up to
https://www.theguardian.com/football...ed-us-open-cup
I think Giovinco still hasn't really gotten going yet this year. Would be nice to have a good break out game for him. Any thoughts on how he's going to do?
TFC have to take this match seriously with Chicago only 1 point behind. 8:00 pm game time, Saturday crowd with no other distractions, Champions League, F(uck) A(ll) cup out of the way,
the Blue Jay Slo-Pitch game will be finished as well. Supporters should be in full form. Time for a goal scoring spree by Seba, Jozy and Victor. 4-0 for the good guys

TFC's form after breaks hasn't been that great but DCU is straight garbage right now. This should be a W and perhaps a chance to gain some GD.
I'm enjoying the idea of Jared Jaffrey or Rob Vincent trying to track Vazquez all over the field.
We're better than D.C. at pretty much every position. Should 'dub on them pretty easily.
Every time I read preview articles on MLS club sites and they often mention about taking advantage of TFC's "suspect defense" or something similar. It really really annoys me. We have one of the best goals against in the league. We used to have suspect defense a long time ago so I think these stupid American journos are just regurgitating the same line without paying attention to current form. Yeah defensively the team had a stinker last game but TFC's defense is in no way "suspect" in my opinion.
Sorry I will be missing this, best man duties for my brother's wedding are calling ( : , the Reds really need to take advantage of taking on a crap team right now in DCU. The General is coming off the high of that epic goal down in Mexico City. I have a good feeling about this match. The Reds just need to do their thing.
Remember The Man, The Legend, The Goal 5-12-07 and All That #9 Left On The Pitch, Thanks For The Memories !!!
I'd like to put our keeper in fantasy but I never know who is starting anymore!!
Think it's safe to say Bono is our #1 and Clint gets cup games and the odd league start when we have a congested schedule.
Bono starting to show why he was invited to USMNT camp while still in University. I think he's in good shape to be in contention for caps soon.
Can anyone recommend some good parking locations? I'm thinking $10 and fairly easy to exit after the game. Thanks!
I hate that I'm nervous about this game. I guess I will be until TFC is 3 up on them. 10 yrs of history on my mind.
Hmm....40% chance of rain, likely thunderstorms, around game time. Might be a long night.
If anything, that just means it'll be similar to what we experienced last night. Quick and strong/severe passing thunderstorm, which will roll across a small pocket of the city. Will just have to keep tabs on hourly forecast and live radar

I find that the Yahoo weather app is the most accurate forecast and they're calling for overcast skies at kickoff. No rain.
TFC is considered a huge favorite by the bookmakers.
This is from 5 Dimes:
TFC win odds: -238 (if you wager $100, you get back $142.02)
Draw odds: +401 (if you wager $100, you get back $501)
Washington win odds: +744
TFC win Asian Handicap -1 odds: -137

Feeling nervous about this one.
