Not to be off-topic in any way, but if you want to talk ice cream royalty, this is it:

The Haagen-Daz Dulce split--Dulce la Leche ice cream layered with bananas and hot caramel sauce, topped with whipped cream!

It is the Ballon D'or of ice cream...

BTW, I think we should play the best team we have available--turf or no turf. So start Giovinco. If we are winning at the half, maybe you bring him out early, but let's keep the undefeated streak going, and get every point we can!

Now feel free to go back to the amusing ice cream tangent if you want :-)

    +1
Best team available. Chicago is 5 points behind, but they have 1 game in hand, so could be just 2 points. Can't afford any missteps now.

Looks good. This game is very doable. I wonder if Irwin will get some minutes.

Is Edwards playing up top with Gio? Because Morrow and Beit are starting.

Seems like it might be a 3-5-1-1 sort of thing, with Seba sort of on his own, then the midfield swarming up to support when appropriate (?)

Irwin's getting minutes in the Canadian Championship. Bono's earned the starting position.

Here's a YouTube search results page for all the channels supposedly streaming the match. I assume one of them will work eventually:

I thought things would be better with this new turf, but it still seems terrible.

Dry turf with guys not being able to judge the speed and some slipping and sliding going on out there. And a big hole in front of our back line.

Its like we are playing in sand.

We are reading our own press clippings, like the first Ottawa game. Need to get motivated and into this game.

Our passing is really off, but you have to give NE credit for swarming our guys and giving them no time on the ball. One assumes this will cause them to tire as the game goes on and will eventually play in our favour.

off the post, and a bad bounce that couldnt be controlled.
that sucked. at least it looks like the revs are easing off a bit, i didn't think they'd be able to keep up that pace.

Well, he shouldn't be the best answer for that position. In theory Oso or Endoh should be just as good.

    Great strike by Cooper.

NER gets into good spots but their shooting is really crap. Should be 3-2.
