Oh sure, now Endoh scores. I should get an assist.

I just finished saying to my dad that Endoh was playing poorly but then he made up for it! Major role in 2 quick goals! He's not been great this season but I still think he's a decent player off the bench and in these situations.
well well, deja vu?
TFC played almost nothing for 40 minutes, and they are still up 2-0...
I think the Beita substitution instantly made Endoh played better, less defensive responsibility. He's just not a RWB, he's a RW/RF. Please no more Endoh at RWB/RB, I thought Vanney learned his lesson after the Philly game.
What's the Canadian playing rule? They're only fielding 1 now that Hamilton and ricketts are off
Delgado gets one. That should do it.
Did what they had to do....Mtl here we come.....hopefully only in June and not August 9th.....
That second half was enjoyable to watch. Shame I had to work tonight.
But my goodness, Vic is a worse reporter than he is a commentator.
Not sure what happened with Gio at the end there...
Big ottawa defender acting like a stuck up pushing Seba around . Ref ignored it all.
There were a number of off-the-ball fouls by Ottawa throughout the game. At least a couple by the same big Ottawa defender. The officials missed most of them. Just once I saw the ref signal the advantage which means they actually noticed that foul.
First 40 mins OFC had the better chances, could have been up 2-0. Once Ricketts was subbed and they moved to the 4-3-3- then it started coming together. 3-5-2 works well when Morrow Beits or Edwards are at the sides but otherwise its a real struggle.
The fury defender was taking the body pretty well against Seba, Seba turned around and gave him a one armed shove. The "screw off" kind and the defender went down like someone shot him. Seba was freaking out at the 4th official over the brutal simulation that should have been carded.
Hello TFC fans. Does anyone know where the final legs will be played? I'm in Canada for the 27th June and really hope it's at Toronto. I can't seem to find any information yet other than both dates of the final.
Unfortunately I had planned to go to the game vs New England on the 24th but it was moved to the Friday so I will miss it! (Devastated!) This is my only chance of going while visiting...fingers crossed.
Pretty impressed with the coaching strategy there, shifting to 4 in the back when Seba came in limited Ottawa's chances. I like that our team can play multiple systems well.

You are in luck

Vanney should be given some credit for moving out of the 3-5-2 and using a 4-2-3-1 to break down their 3 DM's. It became obvious early that they were really playing a 3-3-2-1 with 3 deep DM's. Mavinga had so much space it was like having two LB's out there. Once we went to that, they didn't look like scoring.
Tactical pragmatism when all of us were wondering why he didn't just throw in Giovinco.

Speaking of which, Endoh ain't a WB.

Pretty good game. There were several Ottawa fans near me, and they were mesmerized a bit by the ball control displayed by TFC. We have come a long way, and Ottawa's play reminded me of our team circa 2007-2014.
A fan sitting in front of me videotaped the entire game, he was a relative of Endoah.
Hamilton, sadly, would be a better fit on the other side. He had a great opportunity to shine, and instead, withered until he was removed, after doing nothing.
STH- was at the game, first 40 frustrating as heck, empty stadium, dislike 7 PM start times.
Ref was terrible. Great second half, great possession ,wish they finished the play where they was the heel flick pass.
Seba should Have had assist as Vasquez and whomever was open wide left.
This team pretty darn deep.
Thanks OgtheDim! Fantastic news.
FBAZ - Well I arranged the flights for Friday 23rd to stay in Toronto for the game on Saturday 24th.
About a week after booking the flights the game was rescheduled to the Friday.
I will take this is a great alternative. Night games are special. Rivals. Potentially a trophy. Perfect!
Can't wait to see the passion in the stands.
That was what I expected would happen in the first leg, but this time Vanney played a first-team back three and I think that made a difference. Dalglish couldn't stop praising Vanney's subs and tactical adjustments after the game. Still, the Fury did pretty well for the first 40 minutes - they didn't look too much out of place. Looking forward to repeating the exercise next year!
