Friday at 7 makes no sense. look at the crowds outside the north end still trying to get into a half full stadium.

that is a shame to hear. Our 6'5" striker isn't good in the air.

No more 7:00pm weeknights except for CC games (the rest of the MLS weeknights are 7:30/8:00) this should help with crowd arrivals.....

Spencer is way too slow and doesn't seem to have any ability to hold up

Looking at the TV pictures I think quite a few folks thought it was a 7:30, including the supporters section, which now looks full but was very sparse at KO

Decent enough first half from the Reds. Were looking very dangerous on the counter and could be three up had Ricketts squared on the breakaway rather than skewer his shot. Despite our lead Columbus are asking questions of our defence, which thankfully they've answered well enough so far. Our full backs seem to be getting caught a little high which is exposing the back three on occasion. We maybe could use a bit more possession in the middle of the park although Bradley and Vazquez have performed well so far. Hopefully we can preserve the lead in the second half and perhaps even add to it. A solid victory tonight would go a long way to erasing the bad taste of Wednesday night...

For you young ones who were not around for the old CSL Canada's last and only pro soccer league from sea to sea , Vic Rauter was the play by play guy on TSN and who can forget his famous call of Mobilio the late now departed great Canadian striker, Rauter with all his warts and faults is still kicking and I'm glad he is back doing soccer again, keep at it Vic!

Despite his assist... we played this half almost in 10 men, because Spencer was a ghost.
I want to see Hamilton latest from the 60th minute in place of him.

I think I would be tempted to go 4-5-1 here. Pull our fullback into a more defensive role and ry to get better control in midfield. Bring on Edwards for Spencer and have Ricketts up front alone. Most of our opportunities seem to be coming from passes from midfield tonight anyway

Jesus Christ, I can't watch Spencer, he seems to me horribly slow, and very awkward in his moves.

Normally I would say sub Spencer, but currently we are winning and its his first game, as long as its a two goal lead you might as well give him 90 and let others rest.

    Yeeeeeeeesssss!!!!

Any doubts I had about Vazquez have long sinced vanished. At first I was cautious as I wanted a playmaker in the Kljestan mould. However even if Victor isnt quite as good as the American, (and that's debatable) he's certainly in the same league. Hes turning out to be a great signing and could well be the part of the jigsaw that was missing last season
