I'm really amazed. We've seen many of these players up against much better MLS sides, but managing much better passing and ball control. The turf today may be part of it, but I've seen plenty of really easy passes go wrong. I have a feeling some of the TFC players aren't taking Ottawa seriously enough.
LOL Cheyrou is still doing it though, awesome!
Schweet.
The only thing I can think about Morgan is that TFC II play tomorrow (?) so they're saving him for that. Maybe he'll replace Edwards at some point.
And the turf looks really sticky. Maybe that really is causing big problems with the passing.

At least somebody is taking it seriously. Hernandez & Morrow have locked down their offence.
Chapman is trying but the touches are just off. Hamilton is kinda like Osorio - less he thinks, the better he plays. Needs a forward to play off of.
Man... Cooper is just terrible this year. What the hell is wrong with him?
Benoit is really bringing it tonight. A true pro that still brings something to the table, scoring for the second straight game.
Remember The Man, The Legend, The Goal 5-12-07 and All That #9 Left On The Pitch, Thanks For The Memories !!!
"Ottawa fans getting their first chance to see TFC"
Gotta love how biased Luke is toward us lol
Actually I think Cooper looks better today, at least in terms of not holding the ball too long. I think Vanney (and/or Cheyrou) read him the riot act. Like almost everybody else, Cooper isn't playing great, but at least he's not dribbling into bunches of Ottawa players.
Man Hamilton, how could you miss that header, should have been an easy goal.
How nice is to watch totally relaxed a match!
Knowing that even if TFC would play like crap and get beaten, still wouldn't mean much.
TFC has 69% possession, but I think only 2 shots on net? Despite all the possession, the game could easily be tied.
I agree with above, I'm not too worried about the results. But after an amazing display vs. NYRB in terms of passing & control, I just was expecting some nicer play from TFC.
They really should have watered the pitch at half time, pitch is too sticky.
Yea I was disappointed Hamilton didn't score that. Good to see Moor getting more minutes though
A game crying out for the one touch brilliance of Marky Delgado.
Irwin just reeming out Edwards there for laziness.
That guy's better at penalties than Altidore.
Fuck that was ugly.
Are TFC going to wake the heck up now?
Unless Edwards seriously turns it around in the next 5 minutes, he should be subbed off.
Oh my god.
that was the worst play I've ever seen.
Even uglier.
This game is pissing me off. Seriously guys?
Lol at that goal
Nobody on the pitch cares about this game at all
That was TFC circa 2007-2013.
at this rate please put in our League 1 Ontario team; we are obviously not playing to win the tournament, might as well play the single game and qualify for the Concacaf that way
Truly a TFC classic right there.
Did you see how angry Irwin has been? White hot livid.
Oh, they care....the issue is they are playing like crap and the usual reliables who can just bring the ball down and move it around with pace are not out there.
Waaaay too many players trying to play 3 touch passing
Chapman squares another ball in front of the net into a dangerous area just now, after helping to cause the 2nd Ottawa goal that way...
The next time somebody tries to tell me Chapman can play DM, I'm just going to play that goal back. Since he went to the bottom of the midfield after Cheyrou went out, he's been trying suicide passes - I've counted 3 so far.
**********
If we get a second goal and tie this, we are doing well.
Just tuned in at the 82nd minute
The fugg is this side we're fielding?
I can see them scoring again.
Imagine going into next week's game down 3-1?
I bet Vanney is regretting his decision to leave Jozy at home. Might have been able to lift the kids. Would have been a presence at the very least.
But seriously, our fans need to stop throwing shit.
I am extremely frustrated they didn't play Altidore today, as he is going to be off for a week, due to yellow card accumulation
