Default Other MLS Games - April 29-30th

    Saturday

Vancouver @ Montreal 3pm CTV - These guys are playing each other 3 times this month. I get the feeling Vancouver won't take this game as seriously. Montreal win 2-0

Colorado @ Orlando 3:55pm MLS Live - Mismatch. Colorado getting found out. 4-1 for the home team

NYCFC @ Columbus 7:30pm MLS Live - Defence? We don't need no stinking defence. The pigeons really should put Pirlo on the bench for this as Columbus will thrive in his area all game long. 3-2 for the home team.

Chicago @ NYRB 7:30pm TSN2 - Dax returns to New Jersey. Marsch is going to play the "everybody wants us to fail card"...again. 2-2 draw

Portland @ FCDallas 8pm MLS Live - GAME OF THE WEEK. Top 2 teams in the West. If Portland wants to get back to MLS Cup, they have to get results in Dallas. 3-1 for Dallas

San Jose @ Minnesota 8pm MLS Live - The Loons might actually crawl above the red line after this game. SJE is a mess. 3-2 for the home side

RSL @ SKC 8:30pm MLS Live - SKC quietly building things & seems to have found their offence. RSL in transition still and games like this should show it. 3-0 for the home team

NER @ Seattle 10pm MLS Live - NER likes to swing that ball around but their defence is just not good enough. Seattle starting to roll. 4-0 for Seattle

Philly @ LAG 10:30pm MLS Live - Just what the doctor ordered for skidding LA - the Union can't get their pieces in the right slots. 2-0 for LAG

    Sunday

DCU @ Atlanta 3pm MLS Live - Atlanta is just better. This game is likely to steamroll out of DC's control very quickly. I'm calling for a big blowout here. 5-1 for Atlanta

Impact and Whitecaps are truely terrible. Really mediocre football.

Rivas goal quite good and likely to get goal of the week - but the keeper should have done better.

I believe it from the highlights but

It's a shame to see Bernier but no DeJong in a Canada matchup. Hope Edgar a speedy recovery.

A screamer. But Colorado looked to be shelled all match(?).

And Alan Gordon gets blooded. Forgot he was dragged kicking and screaming from Cali once more.

If Atlanta would have bothered to get a decent defence, they'd be as good as us.

It's actually a travesty that Bernier and the way he had been playing during Canada's once again failure to advance to the final 6 in World Cup qualifying was never called but players of lesser quality and playing in inferior leagues were called, but then again this is Canada and we have an abundance of talented soccer players lol.

That last game was a reminder never to bet on MLS, especially in game.

Oh, and props to Zavaleta for his humour
