Seba was rarely used as a forward in Serie A, and seldom took free kicks. He stepped into this role in the much weaker MLS, and did remarkably well. But, he is 30. I think his slowing down was inevitable, compounded by MLS defenders and managers, improving their tactics. I think the manager needs to move him behind Altidore, where he can best utilize his talents. In addition, Seba should not be taking free kicks. He is not scoring, and each miss seems to remove a piece of his confidence.
