Just a heads up the game is set for 10:30 PM ET. The league's schedule system didn't factor in Arizona not observing DST.

This might be the strongest TFC2 lineup in quite some time.

Bill Manning recently talked about how he didnt wan't TFC 2 to just be young team that lost a lot this season. He wanted all teams to develop a winning mentality.

With Taintor suspended I don't think this is a 3-5-2. Aubrey and Eckenrode are the only CBs here. I'm guessing it's a 4-man back line with Edwards LB and Alseth RB, will have to see how it lines up at kickoff though (I hate these lineups that are just names and don't show the formation).

    my projected lineup was close..

Swap McCrary with the unsigned Spencer, and put Endoh at the RWB spot.

Alseth will play in one of the CB spots.

Completely agree, it looked much better with the red shorts and white jersey.

    That's a 3-5-2.

    And that's a decent goal.

Yeah Chapman has played Endoh in about 5 times down the right and he's yet to hit a nice cross into the box. I will say Endoh looks decent in build up though, I think USL is just really more his speed.

Edwards is giving their poor RB fits. Spencer with some good hold up play and runs.

Have really been impressed with the Duece so far. Some nice plays in both ends of the field. Defence has been solid.

Just started watching. Strong lineup for TFC2. Seems they have changed their philosophy to now mix Vet and Youth players rather than trot out youth to get slaughtered week after week.

You can see how comfortable they are with the 3-5-2. Game states once again a concern as they got a tad flustered in extra time there.

Aw man, beautiful interception then through ball from Chapman to Spencer. He was in clean but his touch was too heavy and it got away from him.

There it is, 3 points to start the season for TFC II. Really solid performance all around, having the senior team players loaned down definitely helped. Edwards and Chapman with the best performances but a lot of good all the way through the roster today.

This squad looks completely different than the past years. i was a season ticket holders in the past, it was brutal soccer. The strategy was to kick the ball far upfield then hope to not get scored on. Now the team seems to have a plan and confidence. Arizona is a strong team with a big financial backing. Wow great result. TFC management is the real deal.
