    Default Toronto FC Depth Chart

With TFC creating a united system, in which the II team play the exact same style. I took an initial stab at TFC's entire depth chart including TFCII players.

    Take a look.

Looks perfect to me. Few years ago our only real depth was from TFC academy but now we have atleast one first team player backup at every position

I don't think Bono is the #1. Also, I don't see Endoh staying at RWB either.

yeah with Bono getting a clean sheet, can't see him not starting next game.

Also can't see Endoh playing up top in the forward positions...if he does he should be deeeeeeep depth.....But what do I know.

well ya know 🤓 considering TFC had like 40 guys in preseason, and signed all but a few...I had to visually see where the depth is at each position, while trying to figure out the TFCII lineup....which is impossible, so i did this.

You know your going to have to update this for the rest of the season - like with today's signing.

    Thanks for this.

Not Sure that Osorio is above Vasquez. I think the two of them and Cooper will be vying for those two centre-mid spots.

+1. I think you have to rate Vasquez over Osorio (even if it comes down to playing the guy making big $$), however the latter should get significant minutes.

General musing here - it would be interesting to plug in our first year roster into this depth chart and see what happens......

Vasquez should be a starter. I see Chpaman being his eventual replacement

The other starting position is between Oso and Cooper with Endoh/delgado as subs

This midfield is going to be a fight for spots. I see Chapman, Endoh and Delgado as NCC players

    Vasquez ------------ Osorio/Cooper
    Chapman ------------ Endoh/Delgado

    Everyone else.

The striker list is more like:

    Jozy Seba

    Ricketts
    Hamilton
    Babouli
    then whomever else.

I think ricketts will always be the first guy going in. Hamilton would be second option if the first doesn't fit the situation

Awesome chart! Hours of fun of TFC obsessive fun! 😋

Ricketts is the main sub for either striker, Hamilton is a sub for Jozy.

The left and right mids are somewhat interchangeable, I think Vasquez will prove the be the best overall, with Osorio and Cooper right behind him. Endoh falls near the bottom of the list here somewhere too.

The only sub for Beita right now is Alseth, the third round draft pick. Have to wait and see what happens there, fingers crossed! Maybe Cooper or Delgado could play RWB in a pinch, but no more Endoh here please!

As for the CD's, Zavaleta and Hagglund are still battling for the same spot as the starting RCB. Hopefully Mavinga forces that reality by claiming LCB for himself, with Brunell as his understudy.

There doesn't need to be a defined staring keeper as long as Bono gets enough starts to continue to grow. Vanney seems smart enough to recognize that the competition makes them both better.

I don't know why he went with Endoh that game. It's clear as day that Endoh has zero defensive sense

Mavinga was TFC 1.0 bad on the weekend. I hope he gets better

Both Endoh and Babouli seem to be at a crossroad in their careers, either adapt and get better or find a place in USL and hope to get better slowly.

He has major potential, he could be a huge defender in MLS. Vasquez was really off in his first outing too, but the pass to Osorio on the second goal! Wow, it was crazy for MLS standards, impossible almost! Lol!

Ya I'm not ready to jump on the #MavingaOut train just yet. We'll see how he progresses. We'll see how long Mavinga takes to adjust.

Vasquez is of a different breed - I think we all expected he would be doing things to justify a first team place sooner rather than later.
