Man that really looked like a penalty to me.
Man that really looked like a penalty to me.
It's amazing how open Hagglund is on those set pieces.
Someone pinch me...a TFC game on a popular mainstream channel! Awesome!!
P.S. Turf looks like shite!
All right, he's nothing if not consistent... one missed penalty each.
Cooper again! Use your team mates!
LOL, to be honest the would be penalty for Van seemed more clear than the one for TFC.
Edwards for cooper in the 2nd half please
Zavaleta poor today too. Oso looking motivated
Literally all of Vancouver's offense coming from turnovers in our own half. They haven't created a single thing.
We're clearly better, but we need to connect more in their half and get some more build up. Too many forced long balls after having no close options.
Bradley is playing very well, I don't think he's missed a pass yet.
Jozy looking dozy. He's had three or four clean looks and hasn't taken them, hasn't fought for balls in the air. He's come back to link up a few times, but that's about it. Has to do more.
He looks like he expects Elfath to blow the whistle and call a foul every time he touches the ball.
Oso and Bradley have both been excellent, as has Drew Moor. Hagglund missed two heads from a yard, but both under pressure and has been otherwise good. Cooper has let Parker get under his skin and had both good and bad moments. Be interesting to see Vasquez but Cooper is a tough defender so I think he'll stay in for a bit. Maybe they'll take him out, move Oso to his spot and put Vasquez in. Oso's defending isn't bad.
Pretty brutal first half if we're being honest. Both sides have had half chances, both sides should have had a penalty. Hagglund probably had the reds best chance but a good challenge by the Whitecaps defender meant he couldn't direct his header properly. The best chances are coming from corners rather than open play. I hope Séba isn't out for long 'cos Altidore and Ricketts as a strike force are brutal. Jozy just doesn't look interested, and I can't for the life of me understand why he tried to pass when he had a clear shot on goal early in the half. Ricketts is just a not-very-good footballer I'm afraid. He has speed, but that's about it, and we're not utilizing this talent very well in this game. He has the first touch of an elephant and his finishing gets worse the more time he has. Still our defence looks solid, and Bradley and Cooper seem to be on top of the midfield battles. A bit of guile is needed if we are to find a breakthrough here. It might be worth throwing Vazquez on for Osorio if the second half continues like the first ended. To be honest though our forwards seem out of sorts today and if I had to pick a scorer right now I'd go for Moor or Hagglund from a set piece. In reality another point from another drab performance looks on the cards
Vancouver has nothing. Same lousy team that was humiliated against the Mexicans. Not sure why we are playing so conservatively, hope that changes soon. Cooper may pass the ball more if Ricketts got into an open space once in a while. Waiting a year to start, the later gives us his worst performance yet. I would replace him asap.
Dear lord! The lack of communication between Altidore and Morrow there was awful...
When this team isn't firing on all cylinders they are so frustrating to watch. Give a ways galore, poor passing, poor communication, bad decision making under pressure. Three games in a row. Something is not right in TFC land.
This is very poor stuff. Thankfully Cooper has been removed.
Our best effort of the game that by Morrow
NOOOOOOOO Don't send him off... I want at least a point.
A big chance for us here. We need to make this advantage count
Unfortunately we replaced the guy who does too much for the one who does too little. Altidore was crying out for a run into space there - Vasquez just stood there.
Shea says fu to the ref and he's gone. Pretty damn sensitive for the professional game I have to say.
Edit: Osorio needs to stop trying to make that a pass and shoot it.
Really have to push, Reds need to show they can play a man up unlike last year.

Brek Shea, what a loser. Lol.
Bring on Edwards!
Raheem getting ready to come in.

There will be ZERO excuses if TFC won't win this game against 10 men!
